i mean early day disney was much darker when it came to villains being defeated. Scar was eaten alive by the hyenas, the evil queen was sent off a cliff, gaston fell into a chasm, shan yu was blown up by fireworks. makes early disney movies better in my opinion. they weren't afraid to make their movies scary, unlike disney today where everything is turned into big kiddy show.

believe it or not, lion king 2's villain defeat was supposed to be much darker with zira willingly throwing herself off the cliff rather than slipping but they deemed it too dark so they changed it to her just losing her grip and falling into the current

Does "A Goofy Movie" have a villain? I think that Brutus is more like the contrast that causes the conflict in the story. Like I am used to say: A story neeeds a conflict, not a villain The villain is simply the easiest way to portray a conflict on a story.
