@@chloesharp9546 Mushrooms can, and in my experience, have brought subconscious thoughts and feelings to the surface. example: im afraid of bugs so i saw an army of bugs crawling across the ground, then i made peace and coexisted with them, they bother me a little less now. if you are scared and insecure it might bring those thoughts to the surface and make you confront them

@@snipplez8657 something similar happened to me on acid. i took 345 ug acid, and saw creepy clown faces emerge from empty spaces of color, specifically on pieces of art like album covers and paintings. it was just weird to see and i made peace with it and i started to laugh at the clown faces and felt euphoria

LSD helped me confront stuff like that really well. I would bring up a fear of an anxiety I had and my brain would just immediately fire back with confident thoughts like "SO? SO WHAT? Even if that does happen / or even if someone does think that, what is the big deal? Why do you care so much? You can't control other people, you can only control your response and how you handle it, so you need to let that go!" - And I did. It was such a relief.

First time I did shrooms, I have huge self image and body issues and I saw myself in the mirror and I looked beautiful and I took a shower and my body just looked so beautiful I was able to appreciate and love every curve and fold and it was like the blemishes on my skin were dancing and twirling in a beautiful dance. It varies on people and states of mind when you take em I guess.

Growing up I did mushrooms like 6 or 7 times and after the first 2 trips each other trip I had was a horrible experience. Just recently I had a panic attack that I thought killed me (that's how real it felt) and something happened to my brain. So I decided that on my birthday I was going to attempt mushrooms again. It seemed like forever for them to kick in so I was greedy and ate more. Once I realized what I did I got in the shower and just told myself "this is what you get for being greedy. Now just relax and let the trip take you where it wants to take you" Anyway, after I was able to get out of the shower I looked in the mirror and basically fell in love with myself. It was the most bizarre experience I've ever had because I've always hated myself and my existence. I want to experience DMT now and see where that takes me.

I feel like the mushrooms where showing him something really Important to look at! On mushrooms our subconcious mind and all its Pattern become more ovious and come to the surface. If he doesnt love him self and has some self worth issues the mushrooms are just reflecting it... If you are in peace and love with yourself than its beautiful to look at the mirror or shade because you appreciate your existance :)

Mirror work while tripping can be some of the most intense, yet insightful experiences. Your perception of yourself comes to the surface, in very impactful ways, allowing very effective and honest reflections of your self and the choices you have been making. I must admit that it can become freaky when your reflection makes independent movements, when you are perfectly still. I believe that the reason people say not to stare at mirrors for too long (not just while tripping), is that you will start to de-personalize with the person that is on the other side of the mirror.

These Tales From The Trip videos just further cement my belief that most people that do psychedelics shouldn't do psychedelics. In ancient times, cultures that had shamans - shamans were the only person in the tribe that would do psychedelics. Then he would pass on the visions he had through words and stories to the tribe. Even ancient cultures knew that 99.9% of their population shouldn't do psychedelics.
