Thanks for being honest. I canceled my PO as soon as I saw some overseas reviews. No way I can justify the price for this. I guess my mcfarlane batmobile just wont have a good keaton batman to pair with until/if mafex makes one.

The eyes on mine were off too, those cowl pieces that stick up can be fixed by taking the head off and putting those points in hot water, bending them down then cold water while holding them in position….also I am not feeling the t shirt fabric cape…overall it’s an okay figure

A staff member at SH Figuarts grandma had a warehouse full of tons of old shirts and she said they could cut them up for Batman's cape. That's the rumor at least. Guess they really had to manage the budget yunno.

SHF Pattinson's The Batman was bad, and now Keaton. They just didn't put any effort in this release at all. They took the original one they had, tweaked the design a little, and call it a day. The elbows, older style hips and the bad wired cape (going back to the old SHF Superman and Marvel figures) are all evident of this. They can do good wired capes. We have seen it on some Kamen Rider (SHF Shinkoccho Kiva Emperor and Kamen Rider Eternal). They really don't do justice to DC and Marvel figures. I'm going to say it now, the upcoming SHF Captain Marvel and Aquaman are also going to be in the same ballpark as this figure here.

they definitely prioritize certain licenses more unfortunately. that’s how we hop from a good db figure to an aight op figure to an awful berserk figure :/

Thank you so much bro for your review. I'm sorry for you. We already know how SH FIGUARTS have some issues with other linesas well .They have to pay more attention to what people are talking about in order to please customers and correct their mistakes. Learn from their mistakes. Sometimes a few 3rd party companies have done better and come out with new characters we need. Hopefully Mafex will provide us with our needs . Sometimes I feel premium bandai doesn't feel as it should be. We want the quality for what we pay for. 😢

So many funny things in this review. For starters articulation junkies are weird as hell … people that want the human body to bend or move in ways that it physically can’t, thigh swivel, forearm swivel, like does your forearm rotate midway through? Also, Michael Keaton armor isn’t supposed to be super mobile, it’s kind of built into the mannerisms and physical cadence to the character. Like a knight in armor 😆 even the nitpick criticism about the height, it’s actually 100% accurate Michael Keaton is like 5 foot 9. Scaled down that is how big he should be. Just really odd criticisms. Also Mafex is horseshit. I bought so many of their dark knight trilogy and Batman versus Superman figures, I had multiple of them where the joint without me even moving them like disintegrated and broke. With minimal touching and they ask for around $100 a pop. Besides mass produced figures with more durable plastic, I would stick to the American brands. If you want to high-end 6 inch 1:12 scale? Go with Mezco. Yes their 89 Batman would be scary to touch and durability issues given that it’s real rubber but the likeness and scale is on point. Mezco Pattinson Batman is great as well besides the fact that being that the figures have costumes over a plastic body, it’s a little bulkier than he looked in the film, not enough to be a problem and they could’ve elongated his neck, a tad, but having looked at all of them in person and being a huge Pattinson Batman fan and Michael Keaton Batman fan … Mezco takes the cake for both. Easily actually. It’s just a shame we had to wait 3-4 years for the 89 Keaton and 2 years for the Pattinson past the release of the film. And we didn’t get an 89 Joker or TB Riddler. Would’ve been nice if they made this Flash modernized Burton Batman suit, but I don’t think the movie was popular enough to warrant it. With that said if you want the best version of that suit with the best likeness, the beast kingdom one is by far the best of the ones that I own the McFarlane one was good for a major retail release, but the 8 inch beast kingdom one is 100% verbatim, accurate almost like a mini hot toys
