SH Figuarts Bleach: Ichigo Kurosaki -Tensazangetsu- Action Figure Review Tamashii Nations BANDAI

I stated it multiple times in the video and I want to make sure that we are clear once again. I HAVE NOT SEEN Bleach: thousand year blood war arc and more than likely I am not going to be watching it. At least not for a long time. Bleach isn’t on my watchlist and it definitely isn’t one of my favorite anime. Right now I have too many other things I am trying to catch up on, but that doesn’t take away from this figure at all. I made sure to review it objectively and point out every flaw that I thought this figurehead. While it doesn’t have very many, the figure does fall a little flat for me. It’s not one that I personally enjoy, but that doesn’t make it bad by any means. Really glad to hear you like it Ace. Bleach is the black sheep of the big 3 I feel and gets a lot of unnecessary hate, it definitely doesn't get as much love as Naruto and One Piece that's for sure. But the fact that we are finally getting Bleach figures with a brand such as SHF, it's a huge win for us Bleach fans. If the line does really well, I feel down the road, the engineering will get better for Bleach figures, as this is their first go around with Bleach characters. Anyway, great honest review as always. Also, I hope you give the Bleach anime another shot oneday, I feel you might come to enjoy it more if you really sit down to watch it and it'll make watching TYBW that much better if you do ever plan to watch that arc.

You know ichigo is really 5’8? And I think max he grows to like 5’11 Its just the art style and his slim body type makes him look super tall. I think the figure is accurate and perfectly scaled

Comments while watching: Glad you addressed the daisin model body part cause I was tempted to do the same thing when mine arrives The lines on his neck are part of his outfit Great neck articulation it seems Articulation overall seems about a 7.5/10 maybe 8 depending on the pose. The single jointed knees and lack of a swivel are my critiques The faces are great imo and very expressive for an shf Glad the chain isn’t a static chain but I agree with you on the needing 2 swords idea and a slash effect. Shf getting stingy on effect pieces with releases when they need it. Oh well, 3rd party companies exist for that reason.

You could take apart the S.H.Figuarts at the legs and switch the disin model legs so you have soft good on the S.H.Figuarts

The height is pretty accurate. Yuji Itadori is 173cm tall and Ichigo Kurosaki is 174cm. He just look tall in the manga and anime becauae he is long.

Great review. The figure is overall good. I do wish the ball in the wrists were bigger. Or there was a extra pair of hands so he can hold his sword in an obtuse angle if that makes sense haha. I hope Bandai makes more versions of Ichigo. My favorite is the base form he had during the soul society and hueco mundo arc. Pre time skip shikai zangetsu was sick. Also, would be happy if they make a version that includes him with a wearable hollow mask. :D

In case anyone is curious who might not know (spoiler-y shit below) this is his bankai after getting his Shinjigami powers back. The ‘Tensa Zangetsu’ in the figure title is his Bankai’s name. It’s the name of his blade. His shikai is Zangetsu, Bankai is Tensa Zangetsu 🤷‍♀️

Bleach is a lot to get through but its good. At it’s peak it was up there with Naruto back in the day. There were times where I liked it way more. Figure looks pretty cool. Im one of those people who prefer his original outfit.

this is a pretty great start of the Bleach line in my opinion. i feel like people are weirdly way too harsh on the legs. i mean these are like some of the first tries on outfits like these and well just Bleach in general. of course its not gonna be perfect but hey they move pretty well for the first try! it gives me hope that maybe they could tackle something like InuYasha later on.(idk if that will ever happen but a girl can dream lol) i can understand why people arent into this new design but i mean it makes sense. thousand year blood war is what’s currently airing so of course they’re gonna capitalize on it lol it’ll probably be what they did with Naruto. first they put out the shippuden stuff and then we got the og. so if all goes well then we def gotta have the og designs at some point. Ichigo in particular has a buttload of forms so xD i wouldnt be surprised if he gets the Goku treatment. Bleach is one of my fav anime’s growing up so these guys are def gonna put yet another hole in my wallet along with JJK.

You really made me want to get this figure I think the only real complaint about this figure and I think a lot of people would agree is the fact that the costume is made a plastic when it could have easily been cloth.... technically it makes it easier on their part because they can just give you a blank naked body figure sculpt on the hands and feet and the rest of the costume could have been cloth... I have the Dasin model Ichigo and I even modified and re scaled him down to 6 inch scale but.... you're really making me debate on getting that figure 🤣🤣🤣🤣
