I really enjoyed conecting 2 cameras to Dragonframe, it is really usefull, it is the best update they made so far! It is true that the 4 low-res pictures are taken at the same time, but it is a minor problem rigth now... compared to the advantage of having multiple cameras!

Totally agree! I am working with them to improve it anyway ;)

Thanks for this. I upgraded to DF5 for my new laptop, but am still using DF4 on the old one, so I wasn’t even aware of the multi camera option. Can’t wait to try it out, but with just 2 to start with!!

I only just found out about this too.. awesome to have this option.. so can have multiple camera angles now on same shot, gives more choice over our artistic vision.. I been wondering how to do this for ages.. I thought I had to get another computer... but this is awesome...

Great video brother, animating with multiple cameras would be fun, but you addressed the challenges nicely!

I want to know? Who is going to use 4 cameras at the same time?
@tonialarco15802 жыл бұрын
I did use 4 cameras but I found after the second one the 3rt and 4rt camera have some problems to conect to the computer. I don't know if the problem is with the computer or with the cameras or cable, but conecting a 3rt camera has been a bit harder to me

could it just be to have more than one point of view / camera angles on each shot your working on.. so you could set one camera up to capture the whole set, then another camera zoomed in to some detail.. character's face or whatever, or another camera from above or below... this gives so much more control over your artistic vision on shooting your animation...

Haha, your « do it yourself » stuff for stop motion is so addictive to watch when you design it, build and test it ! (I won’t use this xD)

@edupuertasfruns11 ай бұрын
@anasongel922711 ай бұрын
@@edupuertasfruns Gracias!

A feature that I really enjoy in tahoma2D is the ability to send a synchronized animation layer into a projector - that way you can paint with light, and make all kind of hand animated atmospheric light effects on the set. I wonder if you can do this in Dragon Frame? Besides being free and open source - I'm very tempted to invest in DF because of the motionctrl that Tahoma2D lacks. But I really like painting with projected light on set. Does anyone know if this can be done with DF ?

What a complex job, congrats! How long did it take you to build this great community? I started an KZbin channel and I am making stop motion videos as well, of building scale model realistic cars, but my channel doesn't have any traction :(. I wonder what it takes on top of hard work to get some movement. Thanks and keep it up!

Which camera would you recommend to purchase for using with DF5: the older and less expensive Canon RP with stop motion firmware or the more expensive and newer Canon R6? Or should I go with my Lumix G9 for which I already have a set of MFT cinema lenses?
@edupuertasfruns2 жыл бұрын
If I buy a camera just for stop motion right now it would be the canon 6Dmk2. Reflex ones work great. If you already have glass, then you might like to use the g9

Bit of topic, but do you use toggling or onions skining whilst animating or a combination of both?
@edupuertasfruns Жыл бұрын
Most of time toggle, onion skin just to place things in place or for simple movements to control acceleration

Hey dude. Can you talk to us abiut the impact of AI's on the film and animation industry? I'm learning to animate in this way but i'm concerned about what these technologies can do. It will be awesome to have an opinion with such experience in the industry like you.
