So much better to solve this problem before shooting like he says, but if the flicker isn’t too bad there are some flicker removal plugins out there. Look for timelapse flicker removal.

You might try using TIG welding tungsten electrodes. Use a small bench grinder to shape the ends. Hold the tungsten in a drill chuck and spin it. They’re available in various diameters and can be sharpened to a needle point easily. (Be careful).

I have a feeling that to speed up something I animated I need to just remove frames where it floats too long (bunny hopping), but I'm wondering if I should try just speeding up tiny sections of the video (perhaps in Resolve), instead of losing those animated frames. Might look smoother than the rest, so it might stick out as being sped up, but wouldn't that technically work? IDK, maybe I should just take out the offending frames... does that make sense? I mean could that even work? A 24fps timeline in Davinci Resolve, but just little parts where the bunny is bouncing upward or falling down speed up to like 48 or more fps? (I shot it using Dragonframe, so some editing might happen there... not sure if I should move it all over to Resolve now, or do as much as possible in Dragonframe and then do final titles and stuff in Resolve... shot a little test animation, but now I got lots to figure out...
@edupuertasfrunsАй бұрын
Hi, my approach would be to animate it first place in the speed or timing you want. Changing frames after does not change the position of the object in the air making it less even between frames, just erases poses. With this said, you can totally play with the frames or the sequence as you like, speeding it at a percentage if you want. As fas as you like it it works.
@mrhobsАй бұрын
@@edupuertasfruns I think taking out frames will make the puppet appear to move quickly. I shot at 24fps, and if I take out a few frames at specific points, it should just look faster, I'm pretty sure. Hmm... plenty to think about... I appreciate the response! (May try a few different things.)

The best is to take a camera and a stopmotion app and test animating by yourself. The more you animate the better you will get.

It was really difficult to choose a winner. Don't know how you did it) Oz Animation are talented with many years of experience. But I saw many interesting ideas and a lot of efforts in other animations: love story of two lamps, nut's jumping, walking character through papers and other. Challenges are great for growth.

Wish I had this about 25 years ago... well, to be fair to young me, I did end up with a halfway decent wire armature... even taped on some padding and had a shirt cut out and partially made... and a clay head (with no good way to attach it... or a camera to shoot it, heh)... sigh, my ambitions never amount to anything. Now at 40 I'm still thinking about this stuff... digging in again so I can help my nephew up his game, but lets be real, I'm also just interested in doing some animating on my own. 😄

your right its very easy to break tooling on a cnc machine. i used to run an intermac ct pro in the stone industry. it had iso 40 cones which make your iso 20 cones look like toys. initially the boss bought milling tools by the carton. after awhile i could get them to last for hundreds of meters if not more. Now i dabble with dragonframe, some dmx lights and arduino and lego for a hobby. That little armature is a real feat of engineering and congrats on the 100 000 subs.

BRO, thank you so much! I got a new iphone 15 (used to animate on iphone 7) and the new camera is sooo easy to change. It is very sensitive. I didnt have to worry about much with my iphone 7 but now i do lol. I just came from trying to animate a scene and i could NOT figure out why there was so much light flicker. Little did i know the video I was I was watching about light flicker was causing the light flicker (and other videos I was previously watching). Very ironic, thank youuuu!
