This video is uncanny to me. The ten minute attack was probably worse than most ten-minute animations I've done, and it left me feeling confident. Then I saw the one-hour attack and realised I had been baited. This shit is awesome, and your videos (which got me into pixel art in the first place) are an inspiration to me. I love your style, and the detail you can create with just a few colours. Oh, and the ten-hour attack? What the hell. I consider 'talent' to be an insulting term because it devalues the hard work of experienced artists, but you definitely have some serious talent. The flame effects, that incredible smear dissipation, the consistently clear and engaging posing, the conveyance of movement, the glow of each carefully placed pixel, even the attention to detail with the screen shake...god damn.

Simply great, please keep making more content like this. Also I would be a buyer if you made tutorials about such complicated animations as well. I don't care if it is long. You could make both the KZbin content and the tutorial at once saving time for you as well. Thanks for your amazing work.

What charecters' sprite size do you recommend for time efficency and smoothness? 16x16, 24x24,32x32 or larger?
@Penusbmic2 ай бұрын
Yes 16x16, 24x24, and 32x32 are good sizes for efficiency, once you get to 48 or 64 it starts becoming very time consuming!

I was expecting the same type of attack, same character, same everything for each segment. "Animating 'an' attack...". Like that sword attack from the start. Then show what you got again by keeping on going with the same animation 10 mins later, then again 1 hour later, and so on. Title probably should've been something like "Animating attacks in 10 secs vs 10 hours" This feels like cheating because title and vid didn't match to me. But i guess it showcases an emulation of what you can do in a given time frame. And the final results are gold.
