You really dig deep with your tutorials. Awesome job. Animated objects could be great in videos. Think curtains, flags and so on.....

exporte el elemento de blender a fbx igual que en el video, y al importar a lumion no me aparece con su animación. lo probé con diferentes objetos pero en cada caso es igual, sin animación :(

It would be a game changer if I could import characters with animations in Lumion. I like working with blender but I design better in Revit and like the way Lumion renders
@LuminousLabs3 жыл бұрын
I really hope vertex animation is a feature that is added. In my opinion there is no real excuse and it’s is really affecting what can be done in Lumion. The other thing I would really like to see is an imported camera

How to import character animation in blender to lumion please make tutorial because this topic no vedio on you tube

great job, is it possible to do this type of animation with rhino6 + bongo (plugin) and export to lumion? I already tried to export in fbx and it is not working.
@LuminousLabs4 жыл бұрын
I am unsure. I have not used Rhino too much so I can't speak on it. What might be the problem is while you are animating the keyframes inside of Rhino, the software (Rhino) is not baking the animation into the FBX file that is being exported.

Thank you for this amazing tut!! really appreciate your work .. i have a question, i exported an animated blender file as fbx but it's not working on lumion? any idea how to fix it? (the blender file is showing me: Python script failed, check the message in the system console) Does that affect the exporting method?
@LuminousLabs3 жыл бұрын
What are you trying to animate? There are certain kinds of animations that Lumion will not allow.

What if I animate 3 boxes like move rotate and import all 3 boxes as same fbx file to lumion. It will work.......?...?
@LuminousLabs4 жыл бұрын
So if you export a file with 3 cubes, one move, one rotate, and one scale it will not work (just tested). However you can apply move, rotate, and scale all to a single cube. Hopefully that helps!

any idea how long or how many frames of animation can lumion import?
@LuminousLabs Жыл бұрын
I don't know the limit but I think it is pretty high. As long as you are only using these 3 kinds of animations they can get pretty complex

Can I import 3ds max animated camera to Lumion?
@LuminousLabs4 жыл бұрын
I don't believe that is possible, however with Lumion 11 I believe a "snap to surface" option was added! I could be wrong as I haven't tried it out yet.
