Very good animation prepared. Thank you! Only thing is when Swash plate a 90° the swash plate valve area should be white in color(from 4:00). its shows Red during both Swash plate at 90° and 80°. And variable flow achieved when Swash plate tilted to different angles 80°->70°->60° and so on, that achieved by variable pressure from Swash plate valve...

Swash plate angle can be changed by means of A DC valve, servo valve or low pressure in the system actuates swash plate to tilt at an angle. All this depends on maker of pump.

A pilot pump is a used to create flow to the joystick controllers. Is is usually a gear style pump mounted to the side or the end of the main piston pumps. It has a dedicated relief valve and filter. Pressures of a pilot system are usually between 350 and 750 PSI depending on manufacturer. Oil from the pilot pump travels to the joystick where is it regulated by the angle of the joystick. Grim the joystick the pilot oil travels to the main valve body and is used to push the spools in the valve body that are spring centered. The more the controller is pushed from center the more pressure that is allowed to push on the spool and overcome the centering force of the spring
