Our own natural satellite popularly known as 'The Moon' and known to Astronomers as 'Luna' completes one orbit around the Earth in just less than a month ( Lunation )
This is an animation made from real photographs and shows how the phases of the Moon change and its near and far motion due to the elliptical path it follows around the Earth ( Liberation )
