I wish I could create a mini course with powerpoint slides where the students would be able to click the triggers (like articulate storyline)

Great vid, but I don't think you explain how one info box vanishes when another category is selected (brand equity, advertisement, segmentation). That's a very tricky bit of animation and I cannot figure it out. Super frustrating! The moving arrow example is definitely not the same thing...

Pay attention to 6:49. When you click on a box (e.g. brand equity) then you not only want the connector and box for that to animate/appear, but you also need both of the other connectors and boxed to animate/disappear.

@@HowToCanvas Thanks. I understand the basic concept, but the success of this seems entirely dependent upon a very precise order of the animation triggers - which I cannot seem to figure out, LOL. It feels like it would be much easier to select a trigger (button) and THEN tell it what to do...as opposed to the other way around. "Once I click this, then hide this and this and this." If that's possible, I've no idea how.... I can select an object and tell it to appear with a trigger. I then select other objects and tell the triggers to make them appear, and the other objects to disappear when their triggers are selected. My animation pane structure looks very similar to yours, but no luck.

You might have some success if you focus on the triggers using the animation pane. You can drag and drop to reorder, but ultimately if you choose a lead action (the one on the top of the list) and then everything else is set to animate "with previous" then ultimate the order wouldn't matter. In the slide with brand equity, segmentation...the order does matter in that I want the info box to animate after the connector line, but all the disappearing animations in no particular progression would animate "with previous" as the connector line is animating. So much trial and error...
