so i’m chinese and i’m 24 now. this movie was embarrassing. and by that i mean it felt like a play by play of everything that happened when i was in middle school from boy bands, bullying, playing flute, down to mom humiliating me at school (minus the panda part). i’ve seen a lot of people hate on this movie for being cringe but i absolutely loved it because it felt like it was literally my life.
