Funny thing about the mail. There is a side quest where you discover that you need to spend hours waiting in line to get your mail sent in the fortress. Not because there’s a long line, but rather because the clerk proofreads the mail and spends way too long helping the sender make it perfect if iirc. The grizzled veterans who know about the grind make sure to bring food and water lol.

The demo becomes more chaotic and unhinged the more you see it. One of the best ones if you spot the subtle stuff. You already spotted quite a few of them :)

There was a special event claymore that we could get a few months ago. It is a cardboard sword and it gets stronger and more stickers the more you help Melusines in the world quests.

Absolutely adorable trailer. I'm glad to see your more analytical side once again! Sigewinne is just an awesome character that I've been anticipating for nearly a year now it's crazy, and I'm very satisfied with what I'm seeing, definitely prefer this one over Clorinde's although it was badass this one just has so much personality. Just the amount of detail that went into not just her teaser but her demo as well, love when they put in actual easter eggs and character interactions into them, just makes watching them over and over again even more interesting.

i just remembered when im kid , i have story book with colorful drawing like that, and it also have sticker that you can put somewhere in that book . her trailer really make me feel like a kid once more TT_TT , also that neuvilette and wriothesley fishing in the back feels like retired old man XD

Sigewinne has the interesting quality of being a naturally cute character who has also very carefully constructed a surface of cuteness meant to appeal to a different species with different sensoria and psychology. She's intelligent enough to realize exactly how frightening she could appear without that constant effort to always show her photogenic side. Feels to me like a bit of that deliberate cotton candy atmosphere bled into the demo trailer. It's very possible Sigewinne was outright the one delivering the mail simply because she was heading that way anyway. Outside of waypoint teleportation (a Paimon thing I chose not to initially make use of when I found myself there) it's physically difficult to get into or out of the Fortress of Meropide even ignoring all security. Less essential things like mail may need to wait and fit themselves into other movements; the basic needs of the residents are in fact very well managed. (The food service isn't bad at all, it's just unusually varied: cooks of all skill levels are encouraged to experiment and expand their repertoire and for the most part their successes and failures are given out randomly to both inmates and staff. This system seems designed for its sociological benefits.) It isn't so much about upping their game as meeting all the needs of the demo trailers: just as the very first ones had to be as much about showing what made this game different from Breath of the Wild as about the characters themselves, we've rarely lost the need to focus on clearly demonstrating how a character travels and fights. I feel the most extreme "businesslike" emphasis is still to be found in Yanfei's trailer, simply because it wasn't made to sell the character: aside from having no dedicated banner and there being long-term ways to get her outside the gacha (which made her one of my few C6s as of this spring), players get a lengthy in-game introduction to her that happens to never show you any part of her combat form because by the time she meets you all the fighting is over and done with and she's too polite to say what she's just been through for your sake beyond a few words to somebody else you lack the context yet to interpret..The trailer is there to tell players, "this brand-new person you've just met is already a playable character, and this is what you didn't see in the game." In the other direction, Nahida had the first trailer where a casual watcher could fail to recognize her combat form was being demonstrated at all - and while that worked it worked because every player up to date with the story already wanted her and didn't need to be sold on the idea she was "any good in the field". Sigewinne has some of that same energy (although not everybody is as comfortable with her), and she likewise had some experimental elements in her kit that took more time than usual to work on, so the developers likewise had more time to work on her trailer and had more freedom to push it away from the practical.

I thought it was adorable which fits the Head Nurse of the Fortress of Meropide and we get a little tease of the next character. All in all, I thought it was cute
