Y’know the original back rooms aren’t just the yellow walls. I believe they’re actually endless levels of different worlds with finite endings on each. Some are millions of miles wide. Each one can be entered in different ways by no-clipping, a door, or sometimes secret passages. The yellow room actually has the least amount of imminent danger although there is no water (the liquid in the carpets is spinal fluid) and it has some special effect that prevents anyone from seeing each other even when in the same room. But yeah no monsters trying to seek you out on level 0 Edit:oh cool they got to level 1 although level 1 is technically the first habitable level having food, and water. But it also has monsters
