I love how the characters lined up to form a Christmas tree. Great video, and I love how you added little details. Outstanding job.

I love all the obscure characters created by creative engineering before they started making the rockafire.

I think Rudy might be a parody of Rudy Vallee, a crooner from the 1930s.

can’t overstate how much i enjoy your videos. they’re so comprehensive and well-researched, probably the best way to learn about these niche animatronic bands! can’t wait for the next one!!

The bass player elf is named “Lanin” After Lester Lanin, a famous upright bass player around the 1960’s. Fun fact, the instrument used in the show, is actually a cello with upright bass mechanical brass tuners installed in place of wooden pegs.

Awesome video- agreed on Elfton John looking like an old grandma. Niche but reminds me of the Old Maid card from the card game of the same name. Sparked me thinking about your Captain Andy’s video. My parents both grew up in the Maryland area and they both remember visiting when they were kids! They said the location they went to was in Perry Hall. They both remembered it being absolutely crazy and totally packed when it first opened, eventually slowing down a LOT. My mom said they ended up closing a lot of what the restaurant was at the time and only having a few arcade games and then a spot to get pizza. That’s about all they remembered, but remembered the restaurant being massive at opening. Love your content. Keep it up :)

I love Elfis and the Rudolph animatronic. Admittedly with Rudolph, I am biased because Rudolph is my favorite Christmas character due to me heavily relating to him in some aspects. Though I've noticed that, much like the animated and most book adaptions, the Rudolph animatronics don't really look much like actual caribou/reindeer. At least the modern book and the obscure Whitman book portray Rudolph and Santa's reindeer as actual reindeer but it's still rather odd that most of the time they don't look like the deer species they're supposed to be.

Your hat and glasses remind me of the musical artist Captain Sensible from the early 80s. Look at the music video for his song "Wot".

this show would've been open when i was a kid so i really could've seen it but i don't remember, so i guess i never did, but i do remember the creepy rudolph head at 19:09 [i've scoured the internet for pictures of that variation but i only know of 1 other image besides the one you showed 😭] i've been to santa's village a few times more recently as an adult. the jingle bell jamboree building is still there, but it's been turned into a food stand. i wonder if the animatronics really are still rotting away in there...

I saw it when I was a kid, I remember every aspect of it! I was 8 in 2016 when I last saw it, and I only saw it twice, but I didn't realize what I had seen until 2020 when I found out who really made the show!

I recently spoke with Santa's Village management, and they told me that the show (or at least animatronics) is in storage! I saw the Jingle Bell Jamboree in 2015 & 2016, right before they got taken out!

I went to Santa's Village from 2014-2017! I saw the Jingle Bell Jamboree during the 2015 & 2016 season, and was heartbroken when it left for the 2017 season. Santa's Village used the theater for another live character show called Tinker's Tune-Up, which played until 2020. The replacement show sucked!
