It always fascinates me how these voice actors end up in these little group, repeatedly showing up together in various projects. I suppose it's mostly due to geography, these people probably all live and work in the same area so they just end up working together a lot. I say this mostly because the three main VAs here all had roles in FFX, with the obvious role being Matt McKenzie as Auron, but there's also Matt Miller as Clasko and Sherry Lynn as Shelinda.

It puts the movie into a new perspective if you think of it like this: It's not a demon virus, it's The Thing having escaped Antarctica to Japan. I mean, it doesn't make the movie good, but it does explain some of the weirder things, like the disembodied hand running around near the end.

I remember going to a Blockbuster in Savannah Georgia, with my older sister. First video store I had ever been where anime was for rent. My sister let me rent the Final Fantasy anime because I was too young to watch stuff like Biohunter. However, I do recall the Urbanvision seal on most of the anime in their collection. Years later I still watch some of theses movies. Vampire Hunter D being my favorite of all the titles. Bennett, thank you for all your videos, keep them coming.

I saw this anime here on youtube, and have to admit. The ending was weird as fuck. But I did get sense of what the anime was going for. Its just a shame that it only lasts one episode! On another note, DRAGON-HALF!!! :-)

okay here's how I beleive happened: the hand possessed the girl and through it formed a psychic connection with the main character, and said hand allowed the dying hero to ressurrect in a few body, hence the nakedness, and also deliver the killing blow to the villain. Also, I really liked the concept of demonic possession being a virus in this story and I'm betting the manga follwos up on that mroe tha the film

Actually Sage, if you pay close enough attention to the scene in Ghostbusters, the guy in the experiment is actually likely psychic just not very proficient. Look at his guesses vs what cards are being held up and in what order.

I think you said that wrong. He's guessing his wrong but unknowingly guessing her previous ones. Other than that, yeah, the gag is obvious. But the fact there actually was something is a sly one that amplifies the joke because Venkman is acting incongruous to the fact psychics even exist and he's actually helping this guy up his game with the punishment dynamic. But that's why Ghostbusters is brilliant because it has that level of nuance to its humor (unlike that mungaloid from last year).

Having an actual second person there made the show have a little something special, with the small interactions they'd have, that is missing in future episodes.

Sage, the whole point of the joke in Ghostbusters about the 'Negative Reinforcement on ESP Abilities' is that it does actually work (A couple of wavey lines) but Venkman is more interested in hooking up with the female student. You should really watch the movie your using as a point in your narrative before making that point lol
