The reason Tokyo Disneyland resort is so good is because it isn’t run by Disney. The Oriental Land Company owns the resort. Disney only licenses the IP and some services. This is why Splash Mountain remains in Tokyo.

Having been to Japan twice, I completely understand your amazement because I have experienced it firsthand. Next time you go to Tokyo, fly there through Haneda if you want to land at an airport closer to Tokyo. Narita is good for landing if you are staying outside of Tokyo, but Haneda is the one to go through if you want to go directly to Tokyo. It takes half the time. You can also get the same great view for free at the Metropolitan Building in Shinjuku. I have not been to Kagoshima yet, so I will have to add it to the trip itinerary for next time. However, you should try to go to Hokkaido if you return to Japan. Just don't go during the winter unless you pack a heavy coat. Once it starts snowing, it doesn't stop until spring. Team Labs Planets is the best place in Tokyo...at least until Borderless reopens next year. I am envious that you are closer to Japan than I am. I also cannot fall asleep on a plane and I have to be on it for a lot longer.

I'm glad that you guys finally got to experience Japan, it definitely shows how much fun you had and I hope to go one day. I gotta say though, I watch quite a few content creators that live in Japan and a surprisingly common thing among them is how much they adore the bidets. So seeing the bidet getting brought up as a bit of a running joke in this video made me laugh even more.

Hearing you talk about Singapore's air travel reminded me of Turkey's air travel. Like you, I was also in economy class, but the service was amazing and omg, the plane was so big, but then again I hadn't traveled on an international flight since I was a toddler (apparently I didn't like planes at the time either lol). Seats were amazing and I easily fell asleep on the plane when lights went out. Glad you had a wonderful time! I would love to visit Japan too. Like my childhood dream came true back in December 2021 when I got to go to Walt Disney World for my 40th birthday and my fav part was the World Showcase in Epcot. My fav pavilion was Japan's and I was geeking out big time lol. Quick question Robyn, how was the language barrier? I did catch glimpses of English in certain spots so I was curious. Sadly, the that Labs place y'all went to on your last day, I don't think I could ever go to a place like that because of my sensory issues. I found myself looking away a times because the colors were too bright. Happy y'all had fun though.

3:55 - I can, but I wouldn't recommend having sleep apnoea. 8:35 - Do you really think our state would allow one when they have water restrictions every time they feel like it (though never affected my area). 9:10 - My bank account would m*rd*r me if I went there. 16:00 - I went on the Space Probe Seven that Wonderland had, but I was so small I was a couple of inches off the seat on the way down. 19:20 - Too bad you weren't there when they had the Char Burger. 21:35 - Well, that's one place I will definitely visit if I ever go to Japan. 25:55 - He's been higher than me (Centerpoint Tower), another place to check out in Japan then. 35:30 - FOMO can go straight to HIFL! 39:55 - I wonder if this museum had anything about Sakamoto Ryoma there, the statues as well. 45:10 - I said the same thing you did right before you were asked. 45:35 - And that's why I prefer pants to jeans. 46:25 - That would be a hell of a room to meditate in. Question: Did you want to go visit Usagi's home or Rei's Temple while you were there?

so I've never been a fan of drop rides either, and I probably still would have never ridden one, until I went to Disneyland in California. I just wanted to see the inside of the ride, the "spooky part" before the elevator, so we asked a cast member at the front of the ride, "is there an exit before the elevator?" to which they said yes there is........I was LIED TO!!! lol But it definitely was not as bad as I thought.

Well done in getting that off your bucket list. Some people are lucky to go to Japan. For people like myself, I am just lucky to have everything I want from Japan all within my bedroom. Sadly for Western Countries like Australia for example, it is gonna get harder to get anything fun from Japan in future.

I’m glad you lived your dream, Robyn. Just prove to show that all the hard work and sacrifice pay off. And happy anniversary to you and your husband, may you bliss for another 10 years. Who knew Harry Potter is popular in Japan? They should make anime adaptation or a manga. You’re not the only one who liked the Japanese toilet; Randy Marsh, the guy loves it so much he wanted to spread… only for the greedy corporation to force him to stop.

@Trixen0111 ай бұрын
They requested the flight numbers for the booking, so they could have verified the time of arrival and flagged it as a problem. They are a travel based company, are you trying to tell me flights don't get delayed or cancelled, or other mishaps can't happen, and they just can't help? I cannot agree with you on this.. I have worked in customer service, for over 15 years, and understand the difference between a mishap and someone being a Karen. Because we didn't have internet we couldn't have proper communication because we had no internet for translation apps, google maps or Google lens(which is scary in a foreign country), and had trouble contacting them. We had small pockets of wifi while travelling, fully explaining the situation to them in tickets and emails. They were less than receptive, rude and lacking of any empathy or understanding. They weren't trying to help us resolve the issue in win/win for both parties. They weren't even willing to ask the shop who had the wifi to hold it for 1 day, for us to collect the next day. We offered to pay some more money, they just did not want to help. The company klook is based out of China, and reading online after the fact, there are many other users warning of poor customer service, and having even worse scenarios happen. If you don't believe me you can look it up your self. We mentioned klook in the video to protect other people, we already know we lost the money we spent, it's not about the money anymore. If it weren't for Stephanie helping us get another portable wifi (which we were so grateful for), it could have ruined our trip? All the places and experiences you saw in the video were done with the help of the new wifi, if we had no help from Steph, our trip would have been very limited, and this video would not be as fun.

A company dealing in travel should keep track and records of incoming and out going clients. If I or anyone was paying money to a company, yea I expect them to take care of me for the service I paid for by one means or another be it the expected service, a replacement, or reimbursement, etc
