I really like the drawing . The way I start my colouring is different. I first coat the drawing with light colours then look for the places where it needs shading (dark tone colours). So like in my steps. Step1:sketch Step2:finalize pencil sketch Step3:ink sketch. Step4: outline an aura Step5:colour light tones. Step6:colour with dark tones. Step7:colour aura. Step8:add floating rocks for details. Step9:finished results.

Prismacolor are amazing for blending and layering? Most just need a fine tooth to their paper. I personally have a light hand, so I actually use smooth Bristol; and I always blend/layer.

Gogeta is one of my favourite Dragon Ball characters too, it's in my personal top five; you made something so glorious, epic, intense and for me this is the best drawing you made at all. You know (I hope) how I admire your skills and everything you realise is a little work of art (the last video with chocolate is brilliant) but in this video...you've really outdone yourself, compliments! I love this drawing, the colors are so nice😍 the aura is indeed very good! I always use colorpencils but i use the fabercastell polychromos. My lines always get covered up by the pencils so i use a cheap black pencil which i sharpen to the max, to do the lineart again. Then the lines are Nice and crisp again :) sorry if my english is bad. It’s not my first language.

That drawing is amazing! The dullness and breaking is part of why I've decreased my use of prismacolor, but sadly they win over polychromos when it comes to toned papers....I've heard you can give them a few minutes in the oven to melt the wax back together if you suspect they're broken inside

Man your use of color is great! Picking colors is so challenging, like even just figuring out if I want to use a light red or an orange for the highlights on a red piece, but it just seems you take a chance and it always works. Dude, don't know what, it may be the challenges you've been doing. I don't know, but you have gotten really good at recently, even better than before. jwon collier You’re probably gonna want to go for Prismacolours as they cater more towards the cartoony style and they’re really creamy which is great for blending as opposed to polychromos for example which are better for doing fur and stuff. You might want to start with a 48 Set as a tester ^^ Hope this helps :)

Same thing happens to me with watercolour, so I use water based fine liners for that last line art. Hope that helps not ruin your good pens x
