For Dio that makes sense since he’s a vampire. For Jotaro, that keeps happening to him throughout all of his appearances in Jojo even though he’s supposed to be older part 4 onwards

Most of it only change artstyle which is understandable Except Vash. I still got mixed feeling. I heard new gen watchers prefer the new look, but i keep thinking it doesn't fit with his image overall

I love both. His new look is endearing, but I'm sure his spikey hair will make a comeback in the second and final saga. It had made a comeback in the vash vs millions knives fight in those final episodes, so studio orange knows what they're doing

Agree, I don't like his new hair style, that shaved part makes him look like any kid or young guy I see every day. And the jacket looks like anything from another anime or even those gacha games with urban visuals. The old Vash had that iconic style with spiked hair and fantasy/sci-fi clothes that I think matches the proposal of the anime better

But the main issue is It feels too modern and clean while the rest still feel retro. They should have modernize everything if they really want to make it "relevant with today"

Listen, I'm a 90's baby, 'm totally willing to admit that I have a bias for more angular detailed looks and darker shading. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate what some of these series do. What I'm NOT okay with is people dismissing ALL comments as "nostalgia" when really some remakes are just inferior in terms of designs. Like what you like, but at least see where others are coming from...

Yeah, I agree. I’m not a 90’s baby, but I can appreciate some of the older looks compared to some of the younger ones. I feel like everyone should be allowed to have their own opinion without it being dismissed, but that just doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

I never knew that MOST of these anime came out BEFORE the 2000s-2010s! (the only ones were DBZ and Trigun, I saw the originals and didn't see or know that there were remakes to those two!)

Koji Kabuto on the bottom isn't from the 2009 Shin Mazinger series (the remake). It's from Mazinger Z Infinity, the movie sequel to the original Mazinger Z anime.

First Sailor Moon Crystal, Digimon, Shaman King, Lum, and Tokyo Mew Mew were reboot which past anime series will get a reboot in the future next Super Doll Licca-Chan, Saber Riders and the Star Sheriff, Saint Tails, Lets & Go, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, Wedding Peach, Beast Wars, Tai Chi Chasers or Spider Riders.

A lot of good changes but some where the characters change too much is jarring. Like Vash. But I’ve not seen the new Trigun. I like most of the changes. Art improved a mostly. In some cases, 90’s anime just can’t be beat tho.

Im gonna say it REMAKE SUCKS look at how they did my sailor moon girls , RYO SAEBA , SAINT SEITA , HUNTER X HUNNTERRR NOO , BOOGIEPOP, I HELP ME IM LOOSING IT even gto is going to have another remake soon and tenjo tenge (rumoured ) as a late 90's baby these were our gems many ppl called anime cartoons or kids animations they used the term nerd to describe ppl who love anime , these anime here (old version) MADE A WHOLE SHIFT IN PPL MENTALITY , ppl laughed at u but when they gave it a try suddenly became a better fan than you and thanks to that cycle things quickly evolved into a nation of anime and otaku culture , truely deceiving how new remake TAKES AWAY ALL THE CHARM the artistery and the touch of the mangaka , i hope they will stop making remake its not working and it wont work the same way disney and marvel ARE LOOSING THE MARKET bc of their "massive inclusiveness multiverse in multiverse in alternative universe" im not a fan of remakes i give em a try and stop watching after few episodes idk if nostalgia making me like this or the talent of previous artists that made the quality / story ratio so high they get unmatched
