Get all your info only from the anime, don't look for answers about the anime in the comments. It just doesn't make sense when you get answers or info from the comments instead of the anime itself. So getting a moderator that can filter out even the most subtle spoilers is very important and you won't have to worry about spoilers if the moderator is actually good. Nice to see new people reacting to this show! You're definitely not gonna be disappointed. As others suggested, it'd be good to have some moderators so you guys won't be spoiled. People might even spoil unintentionally, it's honestly pretty easy to slip up lol... Every tiny detail matters in this show so much, it's the most masterful foreshadowing I've seen in my life so you should try to keep everything in mind! Honestly I really wish I could forget this show just so I could rewatch again and try to theorize and everything. Also, despite the huge ass titans,this is an extremely realistic show that has a ton of complex characters. I hope you guys will appreciate it because it's easy to just criticize when characters aren't perfect or do something dumb, but all the characters in this show feel very human and I think even if you don't agree with a characters way of thinking or with their actions, you can almost always at least understand why they're the way they are. That's one thing I seriously love about this show. For example Hannes running away, you can definitely criticize him for being lazy and not training and running away instead of saving Carla, but it was probably the right decision, I mean could you guys imagine him taking down that titan? At least he saved 3 of the 4 of them instead of everybody dying. Also, the titans have NEVER broken the gate like this before and these people have also never seen huge titans like the one that did it now, so I do understand why people had a sense of security and didn't feel the need to try too hard to be ready for battle. Also, that moment of Carla begging him to save the kids and leave her, but then covering her mouth as she sobs "Don't go" is also such a powerful moment and a great example of the brutal humanity of this show. Also, just a tip - you guys seemed to have missed the mid-episode card because you were talking, so this is just a heads up that it's probably good to pay attention to it in the future because it either has useful information that can help you understand this world better, or just offers some fun facts or cool stuff about how things work here. I know they don't always translate those cards in the episode but you can find them online easily so keep that in mind, I think they're worth checking out! For example, the one you missed teaches you about the structure of the 3 walls and about the size of this whole area that humans live in. Also, another thing: It's completely fine to pause the episode if you guys wanna discuss something! I doubt anybody will mind since we want you guys to get the full experience, and it's really easy to miss stuff if you're not paying attention since all the little things matter in this show, so feel free to just pause for a moment whenever you want, instead of accidentally talking over an important part. :)

Having full blown what-if conversations are great and a big essence of the show, but please try to do that after the episode! 2. As you can probably tell, the tone of the show is very serious. It does not do silly gags, and in general relies heavily on building a bond between the characters and viewers.
