Just to give some context on the hate Sakamoto Days got before it aired The manga is widely know to have amazing action sequences, on the same level as Dandadan (often compared because they are both JUMP series with amazing action sequences) and One Punch Man (often compared because OPM is used as the golden standard for action in manga). Fans of any manga will always want an anime to enhance or at least match the source material, and matching the technical quality of this one was always going to be hard. So when the first few trailers aired with little to no action being shown, the fandom got really scared that it wouldn't live up to the manga. Worth noting that the trailer released 2 days before the premier had some action scenes, which put a lot of fans at ease, but the damage had already been done for anyone who only saw the online hate.
