​@@LLGTMT I actually think Shin is more like co-protagonist rather deuteragonist. He is not secondary to Sakamoto, but given just as much, if not more than Sakamoto in term of focus and spotlight. This dynamic reminds me series like Doraemon where Doraemon is the face of the series, but the actual protagonist is Nobita.

@@reinartes7079 Disagree and I'll explain... Example: DanDaDan, Momo and Oakrun are co-protagonists, the verse is constantly coming after both of them equally. Whereas in Sakamoto Days, no one (except in his backstory arc) is coming after Shin, the events are taking place because of Shin. He is purely involved because of his involvement with Sakamoto within the narrative. The narrative can exist without Shin in Sakamoto Days and not a lot changes besides dynamics. But in DanDaDan the story is wildly different without either Momo or Okarun. I love Shin by the way, I don't want you to think this is me putting him down as a character, as I think he is possibly the best written character currently or at least the most dynamic.

Your metaphor is wrong. If you compare it to Sakamoto:saitama Shin: Zenos, it's the main character of the world's strongest position and his student position

@ruoldequafieat3463 I have never seen One Punch Man, so I can't compare. One thing I can say though, Taro may have taught Shin how to use guns, but his skill set is so different that the current arc started because Shin needed to find an alternate teacher. Ultimately, Shin isn't just a fanboy or a student of Taro. He is his own person with his own autonomy and thoughts.

I didn't really expect to like the show as much. Btw, if you have time, please watch the Look Back movie. Some say it's a love letter to creators or they at least would appreciate it more. That and the Haikyuu movie, it's insane. Even if it's on your own time.

Idk who lied to him but this is a comedy. An action comedy but comedy. Tired of the sub supremacist. Dan da Dan and this are great dubs, and from what I've seen better than the subs. But everyone is trying to win weeb of the year 🤦🏾‍♂️
