Yeah and it’s not like no one is pointing it out. Even the other Soul Reapers and Ichigo’s enemies take note of how fast he’s advancing and how it’s crazy. Big thing is we’re not given the full explanation till the final arc but it all ties back to the VERY BEGINNING. It’s not an asspull but rather building something up since the beginning.

Y’know what’s crazy about Ichigo too, Ichigo’s True zanpakuto should’ve been his base form from the beginning. Dangai Ichigo is literally just Ichigo training with his fake zanpakuto for 3 months straight. He’s a literal war threat against the Quincy in the TYBW arc because of his potential. Which is probably why Ichigo nearly never gets a chance to train in series and why the arcs are in such quick succession.
