I have adult money now, hoping to create a collection like this someday. Have a couple questions if you see this: - Any recs for shelf that fits large figurines? I recently bought the Albedo Chinese Dress Ver and the wings are very wide. Not too keen on putting it on top of my detolf. - What are you using for the tapetries? Are those just pins on the wall? Ikea Milsbo is a decent good case, ive heard people use the ikea billy as well but i haven't personally so idk too much about that one. And the tapestries are hung up by thumbtacks, if you dont wanna pin something into the wall id recommend something like command utility hooks, basically just a hook that attaches to the wall via adhesive.

As a fellow collector, I am impressed and intimidated by your collection, and afraid of what my future holds once I live on my own lol. I've managed to contain my figures to one large curio cabinet so far, but the figures I'm willing to sell is slowly shrinking as the average quality of my collection goes up over time. I have a bunch of tapestries rolled up in a tube too since I don't have a lot of free wall space, but you showed me "wall space be dammed, just hang them over each other" lol. Though to be fair, half of my tapestries are a little too lewd to hang up in my room when living with family. Also, that chair actually looks really nice, and the discount on it is very appealing. Just got one to replace my $80 office chair. It has a number of modifications that make it decent, but still a far cry from an actual good chair.

3:01 I have a milsbo and I'm afraid to put that Surtr on any of my shelves since she is decently heavy. Is weight an issue for that particular shelf? I know the milsbo typically handles 11lbs. Otherwise, love the update on the room :)

Good question, surtr def has a good amount of weight, i was a bit worried myself when putting her on there, so far so good? But she hasn't been there long so honestly couldn't tell you if its safe or not lol im treading the line and testing the limits right now 🤣

Blaliden, i wouldn't recommend it though, its overall too small and fits significantly less figures than the detolf could, id honestly recommend looking second hand near your local area on like FB marketplace but if that isn't an option i guess the blaliden might be your only go to.

What do u use to put up the prints? The ones I have keep falling off, they slide the print making it fall off the wall, and I have to remove the old one to put the new ones in but I have carefully make sure not to scrape the print or tear it
