My favorite meme about bocchi the rock is the weird rivalry it has with chainsaw man I guess it's funny because you wouldn't expect a seemingly run-of-the-mill show like bocchi about sell something as hyped up as chainsaw man.

I guess Japan connected with BTR because it felt more "anime" and used the medium to their advantage. Meanwhile, the Japanese did not like CSM because it looked like a live-action turned into anime that wanted to appeal to the West.

CSM was missing the heart and grittyness of the manga, Bocchi went above and beyond the manga, the production values were higher, the music was great, and you can tell they actually cared about the source material, unlike the guy who directed CSM

Went a local small concert after watching all of Bocchi the Rock. First thing I thought while there, was there it was just like the anime!

The gag Ryo makes about exploiting Bocchi in a swimsuit to help sell albums only works if Bocchi has boing boing. Ergo, the source manga is a better measure of her bust size.

I like about the show that the characters represent some sort of spectrum of personalities, where Bocchi is and "introverted introvert" (in her head and awkward socially), Kita is an "introverted extrovert" (not socially adept but able to put herself in social situations, also kinda in her head), Ryu is an "extroverted introvert" (she is socially adept and at the same time keeps most of her thinking for herself) and Nijika, a true extrovert (has the attributes of Ryu but expresses them most of the time also). There is something nice about their interactions and they feel like they are evolving little by little as a group, opposed to just Bocchi learning to get out of her shell.

Your point with Shirofox really have me thinking about a Bocchi fan game someone made which is on the much darker side of the points you made. It’s called Heaven for Death, its about Ryo and Nijika meeting in Heaven after dying, and somewhat dealing with the reality of their dreams being cut short by things beyond their control.

The last analysis from shirofox is what kinda makes me very anxious and i am at breaking point in my life. i want to full fill my dream but the time i will lose with my family and friends here will be lost forever. I am in an constant search for alternitive routes to reach my dream but i am also currently in a burnout. And I want both. i litrally can not decide which I like more. I cant imagine not to persue my dream, but also not to stay with my fam. I... ah fuck man. My dream is also on another continent, which makes this so hard. I know how it felt like when i was studying abroad. But there are moments in life where I cant wihtout familly and the feeling of home. But my passion Which is art and animation btw, is so great that i cant imagine a life without it. Where i live there isnt much i can grow from. my decision is set on going to persue my dream but my current situation prevents it or is a heavy bottleneck. And everyday I am losing practice in art. And i dont wanna lose my Passion. sorry i am not making much sense. that last analysis made me cry a bit. I would regret every second if i lost someone while i am away. But I already know that i will regret not persuing my dream. I dont know, maybe I need a lot of reassurance and mental support from the people I love. Kinda lost.

after watching bocchi i bought a cheap Pacifiac Eg122C model to build a clone with Lollar picksups the biggest part of the build i also bought a 112J neck and will wrap it in black holy shit i love this amme as a musician myself not as good as her as i am 33 and mostly a intermediate even playing after 15 years lol this is pushing me to learn That bands bocchi part PS i am 90% a rhythm guitarist but i do have lead instincts thanks to my older brother lol
