Although you're not deep down the rabbit hole, that is Fate (or the Nasu-verse) still good unboxing. It's a shame that the packaging of the Fate series differs that much, since the box for itself looks very nice. I'd say you've helped me with my decision, but as far as I could see, the Blu Ray set is really just region A, so I could not even play it here 😅

Yes I actually just finished fate/zero and I thought it was great. Now I’m hooked lol. Going to watch all of them this year. And I’m sure they should have a release in your country? Have you checked?

Glad to hear since I must admit Fate/Zero (closely followed by UBW) is my favorite part of this universe. Sadly there is no release in the UK or Germany. Usually around 6 months after the US-release we get a standard Release (no extras, just amaray-case) for the Fate Spinoffs (in case of Kaleid we did not get anything past Season 1, but luckily you can watch sentai Blu Rays on Region-B-Players as well 😀) Just a quick warning for Fate/Grand Order btw: Between First Order and absolute Demonic Front Babylonia are 6 Story Arcs, which are not adapted right now. But Camelot, which is the arc directly preceeding Babylonia gets 2, so if you wanna wait, you could watch these before Babylonia (if you mind spoilers that is).

As I get more into Blu Ray purchases, I am getting more concerned about trying to pick up Aniplex titles. For example, I really want the Gurren Lagann box set, but man $150 is steep...I'm hoping Wonder Egg Priority won't have this huge price as well. Loved the rotating stand. Awesome vid!

Yeah Aniplex titles have and probably will always be overpriced. I’ve accepted it at this point and just pick up titles I know I will enjoy. Some of the recent 12 episode anime like “kaguya sama love is war” and “rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai” were $99.98 so expect to pay that at a minimum for wonder egg priority. And yeah I bought the stand for my figure unboxing but I guess it works for blu-ray unboxings as well 😂

If you want Gurren Lagann I recommend the Black Friday sale. It’s the one time Aniplex has a sale. It goes for $119.

@@profotaku No problem. Right stuff may start their sale early so I recommend checking the week before Thanksgiving. Gurren Lagann has sold out before on their previous sales, try to get it when you can.

If you have a Region 2 player, you can get the boxset from UK for around $85 total right now. Might even be cheaper around $50 if you get it during a sale time. The North American release price for Aniplex titles is just too much. If you are collecting a lot of Aniplex titles, it might even be worth it to just get a good Region 2 player and import the discs from UK since it is always cheaper there.

Just liked this video. I've placed an order for this box set also but it won't ship for a while because I ordered it together with Set II which comes out in June. I appreciate the clarity of your recording and how I pause it so an info nerd like myself can clearly read the video & audio specs on the box's back cover (casual person might not care but I like to know these things before buying something) I've seen some unboxing videos that are too rushed and don't always give me the info I'm looking for. If you don't mind me asking, what camera & mic (and any other gear) do you use? (or is this shot on a super good phone lol) I don't buy as much anime as I used to (maybe a few releases a year; usually during sales unless it's limited edition) but I have some older Blu-rays and DVDs maybe some fans would appreciate and I also have some unique anime merchandise I've imported from Japan. Been thinking of maybe uploading my own videos and starting my own channel. Would appreciate any tips or advice :)

I know what you mean lol. I also care about audio/visual info which is why I make sure to show them in all of my unboxings. And I say go for it! It’s super easy to start. One day I just decided to start posting my collection on KZbin and I’ve had a lot of fun for the past year on KZbin. I do everything on my phone believe it or not lol. I have an iPhone XS Max which does have a decent camera. For editing I use an app called “InShot” I just paid $5 to take the logo off of my videos. And for thumbnails I use a free app called “Canva.” The only gear I use is a ring light that I bought on Amazon for $20. I don’t have a Mic yet but maybe in the future I will probably upgrade all my gear for some videos I’m planning to make in the future which would be better with better lighting.

Yes! Rightstuf has some of the best packaging so I’m never worried about any of my items coming damaged.

My fate stay night box set and Tokyo ghoul: re just came damaged this week. But luckily I had the route insurance on the stay night box and that’s getting exchanged. But for some reason the insurance for my Tokyo ghoul from right stuf isn’t working. The packaging from right stuf is amazing. But these two boxes looked like they were damaged before being shipped

@@joshuastoll6808 good thing you had the insurance. I know that’s something new and I never use it because I feel like it’s not needed as they package very well. But hopefully you can get both replaced.
