Craziest part is having to draw the same thing hundreds of times for animation. Respect the effort.
@martinfrey2461 Жыл бұрын
They are not so detailed, only key frames are and depending on animation they only draw the differences (ie. mouth moving). There is inbetweening software now that can make the life of animatiors a lot easier.
@-kentaE Жыл бұрын
@@martinfrey2461 not in here . Oshi no ko still use the traditional 24-30 fps . The in between software you probably talking about is the trending 60fps animation =smooth . We'll still see more episode so we can't still back upd our words Anyways. It still didn't make any animators life easier Hell> less hell Since they still need to draw it and so the in-between can react to which movement it'l go to. 60fps is not perfect I'm betting my whole savings that you know more of this than me
@reddragonflyxx657 Жыл бұрын
@@-kentaE Shows aren't always animated on 1s (every frame), they might animate on 2s, 3s, or 4s (the latter being 6 FPS in a 24 FPS show). I've seen a lot of tricks and tools for avoiding redrawing every frame. Anyway, a quick check shows that the first episode compressed to ~0.035 bits per pixel (hidive) or ~0.07 bpp (Netflix). Video compression is pretty much the computer automatically figuring out short descriptions of the frames and differences between them, and it still looks good at 1/300th of uncompressed video data rates (24 bit color depth × 1920×1080 resolution × 24 fps = 1,194,393,600 bits per second, vs roughly 1,800,000 bits per second on hidive).

Wow, this anime speedart is so mesmerizing! I love how the artist starts with a rough sketch to map out the basic shapes and proportions, and then gradually refines the details with confident strokes. The way they use different brush sizes and opacity levels to create depth and texture is impressive too. And the color palette they chose really captures the mood and style of the anime. It's fascinating to see how a whole character or scene can come to life in just a few minutes of time-lapse footage. Hats off to the talented artist behind this amazing speedart!

It was nice to see the process of drawing in the manga style. Its less complicated than I thought which makes it seem more achievable! It was also nice to see a pro with such a messy sketch. Too many pros have beautiful sketches which is intimidating.

I'm someone who's always liked to draw/sketch/paint and for a while I've been wanting to do digital artwork, but have always been rather intimidated about trying to do so. I've always thought that it'd be so different and that I'd never be as good as some people's work that I've seen online. After watching this video, I've realized that it's actually quite similar, and that my biggest challenge will probably be learning how to use the software itself. I don't usually say this about many things, but thank you for your inspiring video.
@averagetomfoolery Жыл бұрын
There’s definitely a learning curve and digital is quite different from traditional art, but once you get used to it the convenience of the tools available is amazing. don’t get discouraged because it’s hard in the beginning! like how if you’re only used using acrylics, learning to use water colours, markers, coloured pencils or another new medium will have a time period where you’re still adjusting and trying to figure it out. if, at first, the art isn’t turning out as good as your traditional art, it’s not because you’re bad, you’re just adjusting to the new medium. you’ll improve and eventually push past that initial hurdle, just like when learning any new medium of art.

Reason I probably have never been dissatisfied by animating studios or talked about quality disregarding whatever show is animated is so to the fact that I tried animation first hand and is not something everyone can do or has the time for, so it’s highly appreciated to see even the smallest animations, since yes it is that hard. I often see people stating that we should be more demanding so we always get better animation but.. you all mostly that state this are the same people that has probably never animated anything, go ahead, do it, let’s see how quick your point changes.
