If you think your boxed set doesn't have the litho: I thought so too, but check the inside thoroughly. The back is the same white colour as the inside of the box and it sticks to it as well, so mine was camouflaged in there for a couple of weeks before I found it!

Wow, the timing of this video dropping is kinda crazy. I’d been considering collecting this series, but I had no idea Dark Horse had trade paperbacks. Definitely leaning towards the fully compiled edition after hearing you break down what each edition brings to the table. Thank you!

Fully compiled has significantly worse paper quality than the individual deluxe editions, there some other videos on KZbin comparing them

You have earned a new subscriber ❤ I have the single deluxe editions from the box set (minus the lithograph and the box) and the fully compiled and I read the fully compiled and it is awesome! I really enjoyed the story! The censorship doesn’t bother me either and I have been critized for saying that.

I came from the movies and animes as a long long time fan. The hardcover fully compiled is soooo good. It was absolutely amazing to see the difference in the way the characters act throughout most of this. I really loved the mangaka's notes he added throughout. He was so insightful and an extremely smart and knowledgeable person. He talks about medical, architectural and deep scientific subjects and knew the real world ideas that power them as they relate to the manga.

I went with the Fully Compiled edition and I'm happy with it. I think it was under $30 too, which was a great price.

Honestly, for the first time the "all-in-one" edition seems like the best one, the bleed through doesn't seems like a deal breaker and the overall quality seems on pair with the deluxe edition

I have the fully complied edition and as a bed reader it's not that fun, it gets heavy over time, but yeah otherwise all good! the annotations are quite good as well

Hi Kristin, I found your channel recently and I wanted to tell you something, especially because you buy manga in French too. A new Death Note box has recently been released that includes all the mangas,maybe you might be interested, I know you like to collect all the versions. And with respect to the colossal editions of Attack on Titan, the French editions are a little smaller since they only have 3 volumes per book,you might be interested in comparing the quality with respect to the American versions.

It's been a while but what I remember is: Motoko and her female friends get together, use mind-altering substances, and have a graphic intimate encounter in virtual reality, until they're interrupted by an urgent call from Batou. While some may find the scene gratuitous and unnecessary, it had some storytelling merit. Because Motoko has a top-of-the-line cyborg body (paid for by the government), she able to feel physical sensations that other cyborgs (with less expensive bodies) are unable to feel, so she records her physical sensations during these trysts and sells the recordings for those cyborgs to experience. So from the scene we learn that Motoko is open to same-sex encounters, has an entrepreneurial side-hustle, and about the challenges (and workarounds) of having a low-end cyborg body.
