Unfortunately, many players don't think Lei is TOO scary in Tekken 7, but Furumizu still is able to make him work (Top 8 at MasterCup Try). Here he goes up against Noroma, arguable the strongest player in all of Japan, for a spot to face Double at Red Bull Monday Night Streaks.

Fun Fact: Though Lei looks pretty intimidating with his animal stances, only people who play with him knows how vulnerable those stances are. I feel a good Lei player uses psychological tactics to intimidate the enemy player.

The secret for this is this.. people love the stances but the most important is the stance transition, how you can flow from one stance to another without being punished

That's completely true, people are so scared of snake 4.1, dragon 1, panther 1.2 and tiger 4 (and very occasionally crane 4) that it's very easy to get scared and play mind games

I learned each stance parry’s something different or has its counters. Tiger parry’s mids, panther doges highs and parry’s mids, dragon has fast combos into other stances, snakes great for closing space, crane doges lows and helps create space and confuse people but is very vulnerable. Drunken styles my favorite because it’s evasive if you know how to use it to run away and switch from the ground to drunken to ground again :)

Hey man, I mained Lei in T@, I used to clown on people in TTT with Lei, but those stance switches are frame negative, a d/f 3+4 with Jack should nullify any of that close/mid range shenanigans. Homeboy is minus and counting on Jack not having a fast mid with a broad horizontal hitbox.

The ending the rage didn't work because the string was long u loose power with each hit in long combo strings per hit I love it by the way wgl is biggieshaq I'm only a saviour but I use of original t2 t5dr lei techniques mixed with new stuff I hard main lei and have since he came out all these tournament leis switch on lei real leis know lei does everything better than everyone and are to stubborn to switch characters just make it work.
