Im a main Kuma stuck in "Conqueror" rank sadly... These videos can make me better learning certains tips in rankeds but is so difficult... Does the difference in frames with a large character like bears or Jack depend on the speed of the characters, the attacks, or how fast or slow you press the buttons? I have not come to fully understand that concept since I have never played competitive in Tekken until now.

Since you are big, frame data starts to matter. The people who used to fall for the really big, heavy hitting moves start to realize that you are very unsafe. And due to your size, you're more likely to get hit. You have to learn your punishers and refine your bear stance setups. Jack has more traditional tools, so he doesn't suffer as much.

Hellsweep is now only a counter hit launcher and ws4 is not a natural follow up to it anymore. HBS 1+2, 1+2 is not a natural combo extender anymore. Quite a few other differences as well. I had to adjust most of my juggles for better options to take advantage of new moves, tornado, and heat.

Slow, but high range on several moves, high chip damage. Best bet for an opening is to cause a whiff or overwhelm with mixups and gimmicks (HBS and ROL). He has a variety of hold attacks to cause an interrupt. Sidestepping is difficult with Bears, but easy characters to step are Caludio, Dragunov, and Mishimas. Kuma's heat is very strong in this game.
