Back in like 2015 at The Fall Classic I was playing BBCPE, was my first blazblue major, and after a few wins I looked at my phone and it said my next opponent was "Lord Knight." I was like "Cool name, wonder if he is any good" and some guy sitting next to me just went "Oh no." I remember he was playing Izayoi and just deleted me. I went on to get top 8 though so still pretty happy with that haha.

You know, as a traditional Japanese cultural nerd, I've been waiting for the day when someone makes it to top 8 with Baiken in a major tournament. Don't get me wrong, Nago is great but Baiken is the OG samurai GG character, and that opening is one of the reasons that convinced me to take up the study of Classical Japanese and ultimately translate old Japanese folktales and put them on KZbin because it's just so damn cool. Is there any cooler opening in fighting game history? Probably, but I'm just a casual so my breadth of experience is pretty small.

He is such a great player, but I was surprised I got so many matches. Then I played Romolla and got destroyed 3-0 vs Testament haha. Still LK is such a great player.
