Been so long since I've seen the original Dragon Ball, I forgot about how angry Goku got at Murasaki. To see someone threatening to destroy someone simply because they don't want to hurt an innocent person, that legit angered him.

i think for me Android 8 is one of my fav og dragonball characters, and it's crazy that he was essentially a precursor to 16. it's nice that we get to see him pop in for a reaction shot in the goku black arc of super every now and then.

@AniMelon Snow actually appears at the end of Z when Goku asks people for energy for his spirit bomb. She also appears with Eighter in Dragon Ball Super in Trunks' future timeline. (Meaning she's dead now.)

I think Goku might be scared of the robot/androids; think about it. He's a wild man- Goku is used to animals, monsters and men- but machines? He doesn't get those... and a machine shaped like a man, who sounds wrong and most importantly SMELLS wrong? That might freak him out.

The Monster Number 8 ... That is the german title xD I think Achtie err... I mean Eighter is really an Android, just like C16/#16 probably made after Sgt. Metallic but they never say that until Z. Well, Cyborgs in German and Artificial Humans in Japanese but yeah, as a Trunks once said "Actually the technical term is Cyborgs" - Goku: "ANDROIDS!" Oh and Dragonball was made waaay before Naruto and One Punch Man, probably was a big influence for most mangas after it.

fun fact: Android 16 from DBZ mirrors DB's Android 8. They were both seen as failures by Dr. Gero as for some reason they were peaceful and insubordinate.

9:06 As far as i remember we see her after Dragon ball only in Dragon ball GT episode 40, when Goku teleports the inhabitants of the earth to another planet because the earth is going to explode, and we only see her with android 8 in her village with the villagers before Goku teleports them.

Eighter is so cute. His storyline in the manga made me cry. I like how one of the games (someone will have to fill this in because i don't remember which one) had a scenario where Eighter and 16 met. There's just something about that sort of character. And uh... y'all ever play Pokémon SV? It's a big spoiler but if youve played, you know what I'm talking about. Same sort of character.

You see her and Android 8 giving energy to Goku at the very end of the series when he's fighting Buu (and if you go by the anime she has a few more appearances before then after this). In terms of Suno as a character her being a potential romantic interest or good-friend to Goku going forward may have been an idea Toriyama had at the time, but it's hard to say with him. He'd pretty much separated Goku from all his past friends by this point in the story so it felt kind of like it was beginning to build a new cast to hang out with for the saga, but then it gets dropped at the end of Muscle Tower. Chi Chi herself wasn't even in the manga until the 23rd Budokai after her very first appearance in the initial Pilaf Saga. I'm almost convinced Chi Chi's a character he'd have simply forgotten existed if the anime hadn't used her as much as it did.

Another enjoyable reaction but how come you don't like Suno? Its true she doesn't bring much to the plot other than being the reason that Goku is helping her village in the first place but she's also not hurting it either. If anything, she's giving a sort of life to the story in being one of its many minor characters that Toriyama would forget about.
