You actually find out in the LN that Diablo learned about Rimuru from the spirit incident with the otherworlder kids. He used his influence to force his way into that summoning spell! It was very planned!

Thing is, Diablo wasn't supposed to be summoned. Rimuru was summoning arch demons but Diablo forced his way through so he could become Rimuru's servant. It was even mentioned by Diablo in the anime how one of his own beat him to it, but it was a good thing Beretta got to him first or otherwise Diablo would've became Ramiris's servant instead.

ouch, that's a hard one. I'd say Diablo has the slightest advantage because 1) Asmodeus hated Iruma the first day untill he was defeated (he later on conveniently forgot about this interaction but we know) 2) Asmodeus once doubted Iruma for a whole day before deciding he didn't really care about whatever his secret may be 3) Asmodeus never used his primary power to better himself even when it would have been necessary for Iruma because he thought it was embarrassing. The advantage is not incredible because we know that Diablo wasn't loyal from the first day, he had observed Rimuru for a long time before getting summoned. But he would have never made a blunder like the three described above after actually meeting Rimuru and declaring his loyalty
