It really is hard! I can finally managed to play this after a week, you have to stop right hand mid air for a sec to place left hand beneath. Difficult as hell

As a huge fan of OST's like these, you totally nailed this one! The orchestra style arrangement and absolute abundance of 3 hand techniques make it hard to believe it all is really coming from one piano and one man behind the keys! Epic is the word that comes to mind. Side note, I love hand crossings right? Right. 04:07 looked so insanely cool my jaw dropped!
@Animenzzz3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that part in 4:05 was a completely suicidal technique, but I managed to nail all the jumps (use 0.5 speed to watch the fingers of the left hand) Arranging anime OST is really satisfying, because that's where I can go all out with my three hand techniques, haha

Animenz starting off 2022 with a banger. I just don't understand his ability to constantly fit in multiple voices with just two hands, truly a one-man orchestra. And also those cross-handed LH jumps at the end on 4:05 looks really risky, but you still managed to pull it off, amazing.

What I love about your orchestral arrangements is how you compliment the energy of that middle voice with the main melody, which is more noticable at 2:55 and all throughout. Being able to trick the listener into making them wonder where the other sounds are coming from with just two hands is quite staggering 👏

It's actually so crazy how on one piano you can play the part of 3 different instruments. Piano is truly the superior instrument. If it was violin, you could only play the main part and have a support or something in the background. With piano you are the main and the support at the same time.

I really love this OST, not because of AoT or its Hype, but because how much of a genius Kohta Yamamoto proved himself to be with this. The parts 1:46 - 1:59 and 3:21 - 3:35 are particularly my favourite in this arrangement as they always seem to be made up of two separate arrangements on both hands being played in sync, bringing forth this intricate melody that's simply genius and damn Animenz you somehow managed to make those parts even better. Also, that buildup from 3:53 onwards and the finale after 4:00 was insane. You perfected perfection, thank you

I always wondered how you'd arrange this song, and hoped it would come out almost like a sister arrangement to Walpurgisnacht in your Madoka medley. Despite your arranging style generally becoming more rhythmic and percussive over the years, it still kind of is, albeit in a different way, because of that overarching 'Animenz Orchestral Style'. Animenz does love his multiple voices haha! The sharp yet seamless changes between homophony and polyphony along with the well-transitioned, convincing dynamics made this feel like I was listening to the original; fantastic stuff as always bro! Also, the subtlety at 2:20 was gorgeous! I cried from the beauty and Hanon pain watching that part lmao P.S. Did your moon get an IOS update or something lmao it legit looks like a dope ass planet in a far-off solar system now

What I'm visualizing in my mind: 0:00 Soldiers are preparing for war; it is the calm before the violent storm. 0:22 Tension is rising. 0:36 It's dinner time. There's food on the wooden tables. But no one is smiling. Everyone is anticipating the bloodbath that is about to come. 1:03 Shots are fired. All hell breaks loose, as military weapons begin to tell stories. 1:47 Dead bodies everywhere. The bigger and more destructive firearms are rolled into the battlefront. 2:20 A dancer dancing away underneath the silvery moonlight, in an atmosphere fraught with loathing and extreme distress. 3:08 Soldiers are thinking of their families, while consuming a variety of intoxicating substances to help themselves relax. 3:20 With a very brief moment of silence, the remaining soldiers charge out of the safety of the military fortification with their battle cries. 3:53 Machine guns are blasting out ammunition like there's no tomorrow. 3:59 The plane drops a bunch of people, who end up turning into titans in mid-air before smashing the ground, producing a massive explosive sound (at the same time the G is played). The imagery of turmoil is starting to get to insane levels, as would happen at the climax of war. ============================================================= Looking forward to watch part 2 of the final season. Have no idea what to expect since I haven't finished reading the manga.

Man, the intensity in this one is off the charts! The resounding bass gives me the same vibes as your My Hero Academia arrangement. The fluidity of the third hand melody, especially in each of the choruses where the descending middle melody seamlessly passes from RH to LH, complements the fiery atmosphere of the piece, like water and fire, yin and yang. But the most impressive part is the insane crossing octaves at 4:07! It must take a great amount of precision to pull that off!
