At least she spent his last for years with her in an alternate timeline where she confesses her feelings to him. And they spend his last years together when they run away. She ended up spending them with him in the path so I’m not fully destroyed. It hit me in the manga when she dies with his scarf and how she never moved on from him.

Something about the scene of the man taking his own life is so impactful. It really sells just how hopeless the situation is for anyone outside the walls, and helps you remember that though Eren may have his reasons for what he is doing, he is still a total monster for this. That short snippet of the man's suicide was enough to make me step back from how desensitized I am in violence from this series and reevaluate what it's like as just a normal person. Like, really, would any of us do anything different in that scenario? I'd rather take that route than getting crushed or burned alive.

In the manga we never felt pain for all the other people dying (except ramzi and halil). Its only the anime where we actually realised how bad it really was for them to suffer like this (even if they had it coming)

I would fight, rather than give up. I'd run toward the Rumbling and try to run in between their feet. The colossal titans move somewhat slowly, so it might be possible to get behind them if you can manage to dodge and weave between them. It would be hot, but it's better than giving up. Either that, or try to swim out to the water and get to the edge of the rumbling. Even if you get burns from boiling water, at least you're alive.

I grew up with this show and it literally changed my life, Isayama, thank you. This episode was probably the best I've ever seen in fiction and I won't change my mind, there's something beautiful in seeing a thing you grew up with coming close to an end... BTW, OST NEVER DISSAPOINTS.
