(SPOILER!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!) The Funny thing about ALL Heroes is that all of them developed their Seven Deadly Sin Weapons because of Myne(red head btch). It's sooooo funny and satisfying how all of them suffered the same fate as Naofumi or even WORSE. Motoyasu(Spear) got betrayed by Myne and all of his girls, he then developed a hate for women in general and see them as pigs(except for the girls in Naofumi's party). Ren's(Sword) party got wiped out and was deceived by Myne and stole the remaining items and money on him. Itsuki(Bow) got betrayed by his party and Myne tricked him , stole all of his stuff and EVEN took loans under his name! They all came crawling back to Naofumi in the end and finally became a proper Hero Party.

Oh yeah, I forgot that they're called cursed series(cursed weapons) in this story. There's too many novels have seven deadly sins in them that I've read that it's getting confusing.

Naofumi adding the Ink to his shield and unlocking the "Slave user shield" is very important. This allows him to manage those under the curse as you would do in a game; set their leveling automatic or manual; when you allow the game to allocate skill points in their default order, or manually choosing which attributes are better to improve earlier. So this gives him a huge advantage as it allows him to boost Raphtalia's growth in the best areas to combo with his shield. So instead of letting her grow average in everything he can boost her attack, evasion, and stamina to make her hit really hard, really fast and evade most attacks, and the rest his shield can cover for. Not to mention it actually boosts growth, so more skill points per level up, something very useful the earlier you get.
