So what's the deal with the Giant in the Seven Deadly Sins? It seems like every other member is a pinnacle of their race in terms of combat. Ban is an immortal human, Meliodas is the son of the demon king, King is the fairy king, Merlin has infinity magic, ect. But then there's Diane who's just... a giant... that's the only explanation we have for why she's so strong, but all the other giants love fighting even more than she does. Is she the weakest giant?

After Gowther who was an elite warrior of the Demon Clan, used a forbidden spell to turn Mael into Estarossa, the power of "Sunshine" then waited over 3,000 years until it found someone worthy which it was Escanor. So not any human can develop a power like these one, it needs to be someone that is worthy of have it, basically is like the same concept of the Mjolnir of Thor. I rather prefer to transform into a member of the demon or giant clan almost equally as Drole, having powers of controlling the earth element and obtaining the powers related to the demon clan, like the unique power of darkness, similar to Meliodas.

I wonder if this "wizard race" that Merlin is the only known survivor of is sort of a mirror of the druid race. Hang with me here. The druid race has special unique powers because of their uniqueness with the goddess race. So then potentially couldn't the "wizard race" be a type of human race that worshiped or at least studied the demon magic from the demon clan? The only hole in that is that they were neutral in the war instead of on the demon clans side. So then potentially the "wizard race" could be a unique race of half humans and half goddess/demon/fairy/giant race/clan? Just a theory, but more or less a clan that was of mainly humans, but all or most were half or part of another clan/race. That is the only explanation I can think of that would allow her to manifest some form of her Infinity ability. Or maybe she inherited that power for another being similar to how Escanor sort of inherited his power of sunshine from the formerly most powerful arch angel.
