I was really hoping Deku would come out of this with One For All and All For One merged into one quirk minus the respective quirk stockpiles. The escapee walking through a ruined city has got to be Hisashi. Same dark hair, and the wrapping around his mouth are good indications. That has to be referring to his fire breathing quirk. My guess is that Hisashi had to use the “Overseas Job” as cover for his real situation. He must have lost control of his firebreathing and probably asked AFO to steal Deku’s quirk factor as a baby to prevent him from meeting the same fate.

That was my thought, as well. They mentioned the firebreathing quirk and if you look at his fingers, they're singed... It could be from him burning his own fingers trying to remove those mouth restraints. My only issue with this is that if this is how they introduce Hisashi, it would be kinda lame. Dabi was already kind of the "Firebreather" in the show, especially in his nomu form. It would be kinda redundant to have him pop up as an escapee with a dumbed down version of what Dabi could do. It'd have to be something good in terms of story. I can see AFO keeping him hidden, but what I COULDN'T see is AFO knowing about Deku's dad, keeping him hidden away (presumably, because he was somehow a factor in his plan, good or bad) and Deku NOT being told or somehow finding out through the vestige world. It wouldn't make sense, especially in the end, when AFO was desperate to repel Deku's punches. He could have easily dropped a Vader-like "btw, I know who your dad is". Would have DEFINITELY stopped Deku cold and he already did a similar thing to shatter Tenko, his own disciple. It also wouldn't make sense for Hisashi to have been locked up in the Quirk prison, because that Arc was ages ago and all the criminals had been either rounded up or killed before AFO reached peak. I think it's probably someone new but likely related to AFO in some way... Something like how Deku still has embers, maybe AFO still had something up his sleeve...

My speculation: 1. Someone (prolly a villain) who escaped from the prison alongside other villains. He is the new AFO puppet. Prolly AFO was able to transfer to him before dying against Deku's last punch. 2. Deku will be quirkless but will probably be using some support system like All Might, if not why did All Might introduced the possibility of fighting villains with support system only?

No consequences for the villains you wanna say. If Dabi was still alive this would be a massive F you to all the people he killed. Dabi is self center unfeeling monster Like you have characters who are worth more than him : Midnight - the sand guy - nighteye - majestic - Hawks - and so on. When hero's die it's almost like no body gives a crap. when villains die they do whatever to keep them alive.

If Dabi gets redeemed, it will throw everything he did under the bus. Some People can't be redeemed. But also, the Idea of a giant, clunky life-support system reminds me of "Dreadnoughts" from Warhammer. Which are highly armed mech-robots with integrated life-support Systems. Now imagine if Allmight was in a Dreadnought! "Even in death, I am here!"

Honestly, I 100% don't think he's getting redeemed. I think he's gonna remain in containment, Like AFO. He's still a criminal. Look how serious they were about aoyama. They aint letting dabi go anytime soon. On top of that, Dabi is the last type of character to be redeemed. Doesn't work for his character at all. He's not about to let go of his hatred. If he does, I'm gonna have a huge issue. And that's coming from someone who's favourite character is Dabi.

Yeah, it seems impossible for Dabi to be redeemed. In Planet of the Apes, they said that the one ape Koba became the evil being he was because "he just couldn't escape his hatred" of humans. I think the same thing goes for Dabi. He'll never be able to escape his hatred of Endeavor.

I think this chapter introduced the mysterious character as a test for the new society (since Deku himself told Shigaraki that the villain had in fact destroyed the corrupted society). Will the heroes help him, or more probably, will Deku help the guy? Because it's kinda odd to introduce a main villain when it's the epilogue. We only have one more volume to cover. And yes, Uraraka is sus atm, so hopefully we can get to explore more on that soon. And the outcome for the Todoroki family too.
