Not to mention that when Izuku went on one of his mumbling sprees he wasn't only able to follow along but to condense it all into something clear and practical. Plus he was able to figure out Hawks' code in the book pretty easily. As a human being he can be pretty crappy, but he’s clearly very smart.

The main reason that All Might kept beating him to Number 1 came down to personality - Endeavor is crap with people, that's where All Might shined. But when it came to cases handled, Endeavor actually beat All Might, consistently, especially after his injury. But unlike All Might, who was almost always a solo hero, Endeavor has a ton of experience with training people because of all his sidekicks. Even Shouto was well-trained... at least when it came to his quirk.

@@allanaribeiro8316 Since you're a manga reader then you should know that you're wrong. It's not that Endeavor was abusing Shoto it's that Shoto didn't want to learn. I'm not saying that Endeavor wasn't abusive however Rei was afraid what happened to Touya would happen to Shoto so she tried to slow the training and Shoto seeing that his mother didn't want him training with his dad probably stopped giving it his all which led to Endeavor pushing him even harder. So, Shoto being so weak right now is all three of their faults.

Even if he might be a "good" teacher he is still a terrible human being. I hate how in the manga they are trying to make "justifiable" excuses for the way he treated Shoto and his wife. Abuse is abuse and there is not "justifiable" reason for it. He didn't care about what Shoto wanted or felt all he cared about was surpassing All Might. I know the manga is in its' final arc and I haven't read it, but I hope he dies in the end.

All might really ain't a good teacher tbh. First of all, he plays favourites with deku and bakugou. They're the only two hes really given any advice to(atleast on screen that is) and second of all, as endeavour said. All might is a natural, a prodigy if you will. Endeavour took his journey step-by-step, meaning he had time to understand how to get better, and then hes passing that knowledge onto these 3

Gotta love it how Endeavor was the only hero, that Bakugo didn't talk back to, when it comes to the hero work, only private life. Endeavor may have been a piece of shit, but he's one hell of a professional, and his personality keeps Bakugo in check unlike All Might. Yes, later Bakugo did talk shit, but only because Endeavor has stayed still, and admitted defeat immediately.
