I know, I know... I'm Late to discover this... but... I am watching Episodes in Jap Dub with Eng Sub, on Wcofun, Currently on maybe Ep 11 rn, or maybe 12... He's basically a Walking Nuke, Brought Modern Era things in Magical Modern Era if Tech didn't Exist(Except maybe Trains idk), The Half Realistic and Arcade-y Anime there is, Has his Own Private Army in his Hands, Used Ruins as Home and Base, They don't know Cid is Shadow yet, Has Planned everything out as a Mastermind, and Others have their Own Respective Skills, Traits, Strength, and Hierarchy, Alpha, Shadow 7, Special and Named Numbers At the End, He maybe Did a 4th Wall Break to keep the Show Going...

Not a win on its own but the attack is getting counted, originally it was shown as well but was getting copyright flagged so had to cut around it. Anime Wins mentions that at a later atomic scene that did get shown.

1:28:40 Not sure if someone else mentioned it already, but from what I've heard Shadow actually _did_ use Atomic. He just aimed it upwards, which was why the weather went from a rain storm to perfectly clear. To put how nuts that is into perspective: consider that clouds are millions of pounds of water floating in the sky because they're less dense than air, and a whole storm, especially one big enough to cover that entire city, is billions. Shadow put out enough force to almost instantly blow away _all of that_ weight! Dude is cracked. Also, another interesting detail that's easy for most people to miss is that during the end credits of the final episode, Rose's name is changed to 666, her new name as a member of Shadow Garden. I missed that and didn't know until someone else pointed it out. The Eminence in Shadow never fails to impress.

One small mistake at 57:50 he is so strong that he pushes the sword into the rock instead of pulling it out. He is in fact capable of pulling it out, but just chooses not to because he is extra like that. Also just one more detail, this is from a light novel, so the author is not a mangaka, even if there is also a manga. But these are just two small things, i liked the remaining 90 minutes quite a bit and i am looking forward to the review of season 2.

57:41 If you pay attention , you'll notice that Cid isn't pulling the sword , he is in fact pushing the sword into the ground. This is a play he does to maintain his character and consciously avoiding to become or be seen as "main character" of the story.

In the first scene of Cid and Nish... Nishimuua... he drops his bag, the audio tells a story, and foreshadows a lot of what is to come, but in ways its easy to miss, most commonly it tells the viewer 'all is not what it seems' in TEIS :) Also, when it comes to humour I don't think I've laughed harder at an anime than when it cuts to the confused people looking for the piano.

The fact that he basically just makes EVERYTHING up on the fly but winds up being unwittingly right at virtually every turn makes me wonder if he has some sort of ontological power over his world without knowing it. Like, maybe the Cult of Diablos was brought in and ret-conned into existence because Shadow made it so? And can we all agree that Cid stealing a grand piano and transporting it hundreds of feet underground purely for the sake of a dramatic reveal was the most awesome and hilarious thing to come out of anime this year? The only part I'm sad about is that you didn't cover the Kage-Jitsu shorts as well. They were great mini, chibi episodes following the Shadow Garden girls that helped explain some more of the happenings of Shadow Garden that were going on off-screen. Also, actually getting to see some of the Shadow Garden girls, like Zeta, who make little to no appearances in the main show. Some were full comedy, some were just cute, wholesome fun, and others expanded the lore of the series. I wish those could have been included with the main series in your video.

One slight win you kinda missed. On the one where we might see the split between shadow garden and Midgar potentially going to war or what have you. There was this slight twitch in Alexia's eyes when iris said she thought both the cult and shadow garden was their enemy. This COULD allude to a potential of Alexia defecting to join shadow garden and thusly pitting the 2 sisters against each other. Why? Not out of love like the other characters, but as a way of saying "youre going to war with a much too powerful enemy/man/organization. You try and do this, youll likely see our country destroyed. Therefore i join them to stop the destruction of our nation while also finding out the truth" Now granted, we haven't seen anything like that from the series or the manga yet, but it is a possibility especially given the later events in the show.
