There's no such thing as British rule. The term British rule is coined by Western historians, not Indian historians. Plus none of the Indian freedom fighters before 1947 ever referred to Britishers as rulers. Even Subhash Chandra Bose who spearheaded the Indian National Army 🪖 (INA) never referred to Britishers as rulers. So why should we? We are falsely taught that there's something called British rule due to flaws in the Indian education system. It is ironic that the Europeans claim that they set out to find/ discover sources of spices as their explanation for their voyages. Despite almost three centuries of actually gaining access to spices and plundering natural resources around the world, the British food remains about as bland as chewing on a rubber band. Even more ironic is their claim that Chicken Tikka Masala is the most popular dish in the UK!! For a country that spent so much time, money, and lives looking for spices, and once had access to literally a world of spices, why did the British not learn how to use the spices in their own food? On point about importing crude oil from Russia. We buy from several countries but this increased more with Russia as they are selling at cheaper prices to us and due to war, sanctions some countries stopped importing from them. So india buying oil came as benefit for them and getting oil is benefit for us. It's a win win. And what are European countries doing about imports from Russia. It's clearly known who were biggest importers of Russian oil & gas resources before this war
