ビジュアルノベルゲーム『魔法使いの夜』(原作：奈須きのこ・TYPE-MOON)の劇場アニメーション化が決定致しました。
アニメーション制作は、『空の境界』『Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel]』など、数多くのTYPE-MOON作品をアニメ化し、現在放送中のアニメ『鬼滅の刃』を制作するufotableが手掛けます。

空の境界、魔法使いの夜 このFateや月姫のようなギャルゲー感の無いきのこの癖の塊みたいな作品をアニメでやってくれる喜びは三千世界に響き渡る。 まほよはやっぱり洋館の日常、昭和後期の学生の価値観や時代の終わりと始まりを示す世相に感じうる彼らの瑞々しい反応が大好き。 トビマル、ホウスケ、草十郎の悪友三銃士のノリの会話がとかく好き。 アニメ化だとだいぶカットされるんだろうなぁと感じつつも、やっぱりまほよはそういう日常のありふれた世界を楽しむ作品でもあるわけで。 昭和後期の型月世界を魔術師じゃない草十郎の視点で観察する、独特の空気感を期待。 自分の青春が映画化されるのが嬉しすぎる。

Aniplex has partnership with type moon in which aniplex will offer some money while aniplex gets to make anime adaption and then Aniplex goes and finds animation studio i.e ufotable and then Aniplex pays Ufotable to animate their anime. Aniplex gets all the profits earned from the anime and also owns it. Ufotable makes anime but it makes anime for Aniplex. Aniplex does all the work except Animating like promoting distributing funding etc. Aniplex also has A1 pictures and Cloverworks as their subsidiary. Aniplex also owns Crunchyroll for streaming thats basically a monopoly. Aniplex is a Sony Company

I have been endlessly frame scrubbing through the four cuts 1:13 to 1:23 and have been in love with the discoveries I have made studying them:

- in the second cut in that region, the character is entirely CG for most of it, except for her face, yet it's blended together so well. - at the end of that second cut when the hand is filling the entire frame and has all of the smearing, that is the point she stops being CG - the fact that they can jump from the first cut (a close up of a drawn hand) to the second cut (a medium shot of a CG hand) and have them look almost identical is impressive. - It was only through the combination of perspective shift in motion and the interplay of the cell shading that her body being CG became apparent to me. - when she starts punching forward the distance between her shoulder is suuuper exaggerated and it helps communicate the motion of a punch that is easily readable and helps sell the amount of force this spell is going to apply when cast.

- in the second cut, she is animated entirely on ones until she closes her hand and the red lighting takes over, it is after this moment she then becomes animated on twos. - in both the first and third cuts, the rotational motion of the beams shooting out are clockwise, but are also in going clockwise giving a sense of "moving against" everything else in the scene, which increases the feeling that more is happening than actually is. (and there is a lot happening). This might just be an attempt of replicating light in a camera lens, but it is effective. - the forth (last) cut I don't have too much to say, since it is just a 3d camera dolly with half the frame covered in lightning, but studying the magic elements in front of the character, the motion of the white lines, and the flickers of red, I find the timing useful to see how impact frames are handled. like how the white beam had three frames of crazy off-axis rotations just before shooting forward, - and of course, there are the three frames of all-white, inverted-image, all-back just before the big "blue explosion", which is pretty common technique, but expanded over a time of seven frames for the full impact you get to see a lot of the choices they made to really sell a heavy punch

​@@KaraSub2.0 absolutely not lol, its a 30 hour novel and 2 hour movie this shouldve been a tv series since this is a slice of life heavy story, its prob gonna be 2 or 3 movies just covering the highlights, like heavens feel was.

@@KaraSub2.0 I was gonna reply but the dude who did it first said it perfectly. Its probably gonna be 3 movies this trailer included moments all the way to chapter 5.2(chapter is so long they made it into two parts.) I recommend the VN if you haven't played it. Lastly there are rumors it comes out in 2025.
