About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA's JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication. The animation production is by ufotable.
The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. In April 2019, the TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the release of the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the TV series Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc from October 2021, and the Swordsmith Village Arc from April 2023. I say the following not as an insult but, on premise and trope, the story ought to have been cliche, tired and tried. But the author did an amazing job at just telling a very well balanced story with likeable/loveable characters and really managed to get readers (and now watchers) to be invested. She deserves all the accolades the series has been praised for. It's not just what or who your story is about, but most importantly how you present that story and its various elements.

I can definitely see a lot of people not going like this arc due to the fact that it doesn't really have any great fighting sequence. But I don't care, The fact that this arc is the prime setup of one the greatest arcs in the entire series sends me shivers. Truly one of the "calm before the storm" moments. And for any manga readers reading this, you know damn well that they are going to give us one of the biggest cliffhangers in the series, if you know what I mean.

Demon Slayer is absolutely a phenomenon to experience! It's been almost 5 years since the anime debuted and now after the the Hashira Training arc, we'll be officially 1 arc away (depending on how they animate the final one) from completing the anime. I remember watching the first episode only a few days after its release like it was just yesterday... I never imagined it would become this big!! Tengen separates Giyuu and Shinobu cause he isn’t fighting (Giyuu and Shinobu arent paired with pillars), Gyomei/Muichiro/Sanemi and Obanai/Mitsuri are paired.
