if you haven't read the LN i would, its different and more polished. Just look up "slime reader"

@@adiantum I would say very different, as I only read some of the WN before learning that the LN is better overall and reading through the 20 volumes of LN. But a lot of the arcs are very different, for example Yukki is basically non-existent plot wise. Im pretty sure LNs 1-7 are like the WN then they get more and more diffrent. ANime ended at 6, so i would start at LN 7 using "Slime reader" , if you like slime i would at least read a chapter before deciding whether or not to continue. sorry for the wall of text, have fun.
