We dont do invoices, but end of the day we have one till z report, and its called daily taking which breaks down into Card sales, Cash Sales, and Amex card sales. Hi Anise this is great. I am very new to xero and helping a friend who runs several projects simultaneously and then starts new ones. We need a profit and loss for each. Understand we need an add-on to Xero as only 2 categories provided. Can you make a few suggestions? The ones I have seen only seem to talk about the income invoicing re jobs. +Kay Dyson Hello Kay There are two Tracking categories - but under each one you can have unlimited Tracking options. So you could set up one to be JOBS and under it have hundreds of jobs. However maybe you want something more indepth than that? What industry is the business? How many invoice and jobs per month?

Thanks Anise. I'll see how I go with that. We could have Project and City. Although I don't know if we will be able to use both tracking codes at once to get a P&L for eg Project 1 x Adelaide. It's also that Xero help said that if we have too many Projects building up, Xero will slow down so we should get an add on. I don't know the number of entries etc as I'm just helping out. It's theatre shows.

How are you receiving the money? Through a solution like Eventbrite? Are you using another plugin to manage purchases - that may be of use here?

Hi Heather, I'm new to this and is really does my head in. Once you activated your bank feed you only have to do it once? as some transaction which I know I've spend on fuel doesn't come through to xero bank feed why??

Yes you should only need to activate the bank feed once. Are you sure the fuel was charged to the account? How long ago? Sometimes it takes 12 hours to come through, and it wont work over the weekend. Contact me for further support here : www.heathersmithsmallbusiness.com/

Hi , i just got a question for you , say if i running a website ,and taking payment from paypal directly and just using the paypal feeds in xero software. Say i have already created a invoice ,and wanted the automated invoice send directly to customers upong purchase via paypal. All i see is in xero it allows to connect to paypal and email send to customer for payment and it shows up paid in xero. please advise your options thanks.

Hi Pankaj Chaturvedi I can't think of a way to do it in Xero - in one time. Take a look at this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/n17bo6KZlpmJhbM the data downloaded might give you what you want. Alternatively - it would be downloading both Rec & Pay reports and merging them in excel.
