Talk about 2 Powerhouse divas...fond memories of seeing Anita Baker sing live for the first time during this Capital Jazz Festival...it was a rainy day, where it was raining cats and dogs the entire day...and then the rain stopped and the skies cleared up just in time for Anita Baker, the headliner...WOW! And Regina Belle! What can I say about my childhood crush and that first album in 1987 (All By Myself)...took the promotional copy of that album home from the record store where I worked to listen to and from that night, I fell in love....

😮 even though Regina sang the hell out of Anita's song, I don't like that she took over Anita's concert and sang one of Anita's best hits Anita was saving to sing to her fans🤨 Regina just wanted to show that shlle can sing bettellr than Anita! NOT! That's not being a friend she know Anita can sing and just thought to herself, "I'm going to show her that I can sing better than her!" Anita was taken aback! She didn't let Anita get in not even a sentence to sing she was going to drown her out and make sure that she don't show all her Anita skills of scathing and singing her full range of lower tenoir to full range to upper soprano because she knew that Anita would have blown her own audience away! Regina should have waited until she were singing at her own concert to show off her skillls singing You Bring me Joy better than Anita whether she felt she could or not! NOT! I feel the same way about Anita I don't think Anita should do the same thing that Regina wrongly did to her. I don't care if she thought that she could blow Regina under the table she should not go to Regina show and show out and steal the spotlight from R egina out singing Regina on a Regina's song. That's consider rude, especially if I paid tickets to go see Regina and I'm sure viewers that see this video and read comments will agree with me!🤨
