As the person who originally played and created the piano part, (as well as co-wrote the song, uncredited), you did a good job. Captured the feel, bravo!

Thank you for commenting on my version of your song. It's robust progressions are a true pleasure to play and have doubtlessly inspired and encouraged every keyboard player who has ever heard it.
@equesfuscus10 жыл бұрын
As the person who originally played and created the piano part, you left a mark on a generation of people who had never heard anything like this before, never have since, and wish somehow they could learn to play like that. You put the piano back in the ears of this teenager back in the day, and I want to thank you for doing it. The world wouldn't be the same without this piano part on this song. You, Sir, added something to our culture.

Well done, Sirgant! I read that Dick Griffey cheated Freeway Rick out of the $600K that he invested into The Songtress album. No one has ever had a good thing to say about Griffey or SOLAR Records.

I've never heard anyone incorporate such dynamic bass together with such sophisticated playing all at once on a keyboard. Most piano music is dynamic in the right hand, and octaves, maybe fifths and such, in the left. Sometimes, we even get some tenths in the left. But this - this is a totally different situation. Your family and neighbours must love living near you.

This is an incredible song. I’m just blown away by the technical complexity of the keyboard component. There’s so much going on here, it’s no wonder when you add the richness of Anita’s voice let alone the amazing baseline and percussion that you have a truly masterpiece hit song.

I've had this video saved on my "Favorites" for many years now, and for good reason. It is so well executed and simply lovely to listen to. You do a wonderful job on adding in the voice notes as well, and all comes together as seamless as it could be. What does it for me, is the soothing chord progressions this piece demonstrates throughout. It is pleasing to not only the ears...but the soul as well. Great job, and thanks so much for sharing!

Now this is what I call a piano solo; sweet, appealing even. Not all that eccentric jazz stuff with people playing random notes at lightning speed, showing off skill but lacking sweet appeal. Ahhh, I wish I could play like you !
