This is kind of bad for Anita, because she did a great job with the samba in my opinion, but Gleb being so talented and having so much charisma to convey the meaning of samba, sort of steals her thunder in a dance where the woman is central and the man there to make her look good. I truly thought he was Brazilian, until I looked at his name and realised he's just extremely talented.

She's incredible! Cannot believe she had zero dance experience - in a competition with a Sylvia Young grad, someone who'd received specialist dance training for 7 years, a former ballet student and RAM student. So undermarked though - look at Sophie Ellis Bextor's dire cha cha and samba, both scored significantly higher than this. But she's smashing the tour though - has won as many nights Jay and lowest she's come is 2nd!

I've included this video as part of a playlist called Eurovision at Strictly where I have linked taken the best performing country at that year's Eurovision Song Contest that I can link to the background of either a pro or contestant as the pros tend to come from various European countries. At the 2015 contest in Vienna that country was Russia who were second. Savchenko is of course Russian.
