thank god Layton was on the show him and Nikita absolutely made my year last year and I'm so glad he agreed to do it despite him knowing he would get grief from people like you, also Nigel had actually won an Olivier for starring in west end musicals but got none of the grief that Layton got for some mysterious reason.

@@rosepetal34 I think people felt it was a little fixed. As in, they wanted the first same sex partnership to go far in the show, so they made sure they were awesome

​@@maipantoon7823 Layton and Nikitas dances have the highest views and likes of all the dances from last season a lot of people including me clearly wanted to see brilliant dancing, also it was the 5th same sex partnership Katya Jones and Nicola Adams was the first back in 2020 and then we had Jojo and John, Karen and Jayde and Gio and Richie so not even close to the first not the first to reach the final either do you actually watch the show?.

@@rosepetal34 And they also won the arena tour (solely on the public vote of the audience), winning 19 out of 30 shows and coming second around 8 times as well. They were hugely popular. It was so lovely to feel the love for them after the social media bashing Layton had - those people were just a very noisy minority in the end.
