Most of us have been taught at a young age to put others before ourselves. To become martyrs, so to speak. 'I don't really want to do this thing, but it'll help so and so if I do, so I'd better do it'. To help them instead of taking care of me becomes more important. Learning to put myself first is something I'm working on. Frequently I think about what everyone is told when on an airplane. Put your own oxygen mask on first, then you can help those around you.

Thank you Anita. Your book is brilliant. Indeed, the greatest secret is that we have to love and respect ourselves first before we can love and respect other people and all life around us. There is no way the global power elite can manipulate a person who is completely detached from external guidance and walks the path of the soul. The path where he encounters and finds all that is meaningful in life.

I found your book when I needed it most, I had 3 family members in a short time span (Dad, youngest Brother and Mother) and was in grief, So wanted to learn about dying, but in truth I learned more about how to live. ✨❤️🙏. I am dealing with a debilitating health issue, so needed to hear this now, as it is an inside job, as Doctors can not or not bother to find cause (Brain cyst, TMJ, and muscle and weakness) and am in a lot of pain. Thank you for all you do to help humanity. Love and Light. I should add, I got to meet you briefly in Vancouver, Canada at a conference with other brilliant speakers, including Dr. Wayne Dyer. ✨😊❤️🙏

Thanks Anita, that was the message my heart needed today. I found my perpose thrue loving myself, I love life and I am healthy. I am a art painter and I help people when they go through emotional violent times, because I understand now, how to return to inner emotional security. And than, there are those days or periods, where I doupt the unfolding of my perpose, asking questions like, how I can be of more in service to others, and how would painting be of service to others. This same thought is coming frequently. But a part of me knows, that painting is giving me the balance when I help friends that are at a place that freece them in an overwhelm of emotions. Painting reflects the love to myself, and when I don't allow myself to paint.....no, it is fueling my work with others.

Anita Maam nobody taught us to love ourselves, take care of self respect, honour. This is extremely essential because where there is no love, there is no God🌹🌹!! Another interesting point which you have raised is that our departed loved ones do not have vocal chord. They comunicate with us through signs. I have pondered on the matter for এ long time and now I have the answer. Thank you Maam❤️❤️

Anita, I love your book and your messages. The only thing I had a different take on while watching this video is that the word 'surrender' has never resonated for me, plus it's a word used in/associated with wars. Instead, I welcome spiritual help by using words with only positive connotations, such as "I gladly permit/I welcome/I embrace/I gladly allow/I gladly invite/I'm willingly receptive to/I immerse myself in the flow of/I know I am being protected by.../I trust in/I release this burden to ...knowing it is solved...I gladly accept/receive Your unfailing guidance/the loving guidance/the all-powerful help of God within me/the flow of the loving Guidance/the Universe's unfailing Intelligence," etc. These types of statements open my receptiveness to help and still sustain the feeling of personal empowerment. 'I surrender' has a negative connotation to many, and I suspect it's what sometimes gets in the way for people or implies/brings about a feeling of separation. Thanks again for your book and messages, Anita - you are such a bright light!

Dear Anita, I have known about your story and first book for a long time. However, it was your book "What if This Is Heaven?" that I felt compelled to read just a few days after my dad passed away in 2021. This was only a year and a month following my mum's passing, for whom I originally bought your book. I'll never know if she had the chance to read it, but I did. It arrived at precisely the right moment and provided immense help in my grief. I was by their sides until their very last breath and cared for them at their home. Now, I am incredibly excited about your coming to Prague and, even more so, about attending your event-a possibility I never imagined I would have. I am truly looking forward to it.

So grateful for you sharing this🥰🌻Wow, such an empowering video and message. So much love and blessings to you and your team. Thank you so very much Anita for sharing this life changing insight and your experience. 🌻😁It brought me so much hope and more clarity. I have been wondering how to find my purpose as I would like to heal my body/health/life and live lovingly in purpose. I can see I need to change my mind set. I was trying to force finding my purpose from a place of not loving me or my life instead of building self love and connecting with passion and starting to adjust things so I actually begin to love my life more and more, raising my vibe doing so, so guidence can reach me and things can unfold naturally. I can also now see i need to love myself in terms of the relationships I allow in my life as well and to avoid the people who have been putting me down, judging and not being a loving or accepting presence in my life, and to instead start to know and be me more and more fearlessly and start to choose people who love me for me in return and feel like a more equally loving connection. Thank you so much for sharing all this valuable insight.🌻🥰 The simulation experience at your events sound absolutely awesome. I would love to experience that oneday. Thank you so much. Blessings 💐😁

Anita, listening to you over the past few years has enabled me to understand that to love myself is to accept myself for who I am - replete with all my flaws and shortcomings; to forgive myself, to not be so hard on myself. So maybe I’ve got that right(?) But the issue of finding my purpose still remains. Yes, I am one of those maybe 90/95% of people on this planet who hate their jobs but have no idea what to do about it. It really is not that simple. All I know now since I have maybe started to love myself more than I ever used to, is that my career is NOT feeding my soul. But so what? What am I going to do about it? Quit my job and take up some nature related work (since I like millions of others love nature and birds and bees so much) that too if I can find one in today’s AI world? And we all know that that’s not going to be enough by any stretch of the imagination to pay the bills. It’s just so messed up..I really envy those people who knew exactly what it is that they wanted to do growing up.

You may have addressed this at some point, but I'm going to say it anyway . . . It is very difficult, even if you have some purpose or passion already identified, to be able to get there from where you are. For me, and I'm sure many others, there is this little matter of survival. If you have to spend all of your time doing what it takes to survive, there isn't much time or energy left to be able to pursue your passion or purpose. In fact, it is incredibly frustrating! When you have no money for anything, it feels like you have to keep doing the things you don't want to do just to survive. I have found there are rays of hope when occassionally events will allow me some modicum of time with my passion. I am working toward this goal, but it seems at times it takes a level of "faith" or some other other commodity that I just don't have. I do thank you for the reminder that I need to keep pushing toward my goal - sometimes it seems a toss-up as to which will win: passion or declining health - but I will keep pressing forward and I do appreciate your encouragement!

The journey to self is the only purpose we have, the fools journey, the journey to find our soul, loosing the mind to find ourselves, whatever terms anyone uses its all the same thing. I also had a NDE and found the same thing, my purpose is simply to be authentically me and if anyone has an issue with it, thats their issue not mine. Same as feeling other people's emotions for them, i only focus on my emotions because i can only control mine (well unless i was to be a people pleaser again which is a manipulation tactic). Radical authentic truth is the most important thing for self, especially if you want to maintain health or become healthy. I was once the sickest in any given room, now I'm usually by alot the healthiest 💖

I love many Anita’s ideas, but I feel it is not random that almost all people do not know their purpose. I suppose there are many purposes for each of us, not one - trying to find « a purpose » creates many disappointments and suffer, maybe exactly because it is not possible at all. But it is possible to find many purposes! 😊 I love most that Anita « promotes » joy, fun, ease ness, love for all parts of ourselves including ego, when many spiritual teachers still see ego as something « inherently bad ». One more point - very many people have very few possibilities to think about anything but survival, unfortunately - billions of humans... There is something which is not accessible here on this side, I do not like it, but it is so. It is not random that this physical side is so separated from « other side », I respect people who can find a « harmonious approach » to learn about other side, it is very difficult... Maybe the most people do not need to research it deeply, at least now, maybe it is changing slowly... There are so much fear and suffer on this planet, we need much more compassion, joy, love...

this sounds great and utopia like to those of us who don't live in the first world and our circumstances are less than favorable (using tons of euphemisms not to elaborate). I'd love to hear more tangible ways to approach this, as cynical as this might come off, I desperately would love to know. Finding purpose? I'd ask: just one? I find TONS on of purposeSSS but loving oneself? loving our lives? how? The world is not the first world only, pls understand. I'm wondering how anyone in Palestine rn could love themselves when they're trying to survive, literally trying to survive while witnessing nightmare-like horrors unfolding 24/7
